Got a walk in before it started raining. It's just dull and dreary looking outside now. Did some more weeding as the ground had softened. Free up some more space for more weeds to grow.

Re: productive things i did today

Hi @Bubbles3, That sounds like a good start to the day. I'm not sure what state you are in. I'm in NSW and it is 1pm here. My day ended up going amazingly downhill yesterday and I am still feeling the effects of that today. I also got up late partly because I was awake at 3am, and partly because of the shift into daylight saving. Thus I haven't been nearly as productive as I would have liked. However, I have posted in the Great Yoga Adventure thread and I have posted the next bit of the DBT adventure. You mentioned yesterday that you were curious about DBT. Here is the thread: Let's do DBT. It is a new adventure so it is very much a work in progress. I hope you have a great day @Bubbles3.

Re: productive things i did today

Hi @Bubbles3

I do understand how interrupted sleep can be draining. I am rarely asleep before 2:00am and occasionally need a bomb under me to get me up and going 😅! No one can speak to me before 8:30am until I have that hit of coffee haha. My day has been reasonably productive. I have gone for a walk, did some writing, some washing and had a nice phone conversation with an old male friend who was living on the neighbouring farm next to us when we resided there some 7 years or so ago. It was nice to catch up.

Now I hope to catch up on some cross stitching that I have fallen behind on. That always seems to be the last thing I get to. Might have to go up the road to get some groceries which isn't my favourite pastime because of the crowds 😖. Hope your day goes well for you 😊

Re: productive things i did today

i take sleeping med to get me asleep @Former-Member

iv spent my hole not sleeping so im glad to be on sleeping meds.

im glad your day has been productive so far.

i really stuggle with my day, with getting up doing thing.

i have just had a med change about 2 or3 weeks ago now , so still trying to ajust to that.

im getting better as each day goes y but i still stuggle to get up and do things, just the simple things.

i get jellous when i hear that people are doing this and doing that. it makes me angry at myself if that makes sense @Former-Member

Re: productive things i did today

Yes it makes sense my friend. I get frustrated with myself and life at times too. But we will get there eventually one day at a time. We all have different limitations and circumstances and all we can do is our best in our lives. That's enough for now. Other people may not have had the bad start in life we had @Bubbles3, so we cannot compare us with them. If they did have a bad start also, they may not be able to do things so easily. Be kind to you @Bubbles3. You have a tough life. Pat yourself on the back for doing what you can do. It's okay for now.

Any new med change I have had in the past makes me feel worse at first. It takes time for the body to adjust and given time you will start to pick up 😊 Hope you find some nice moments in your day xxx

Re: productive things i did today

Totally get you @Bubbles3 When I had a breakdown my husband did everything for months on end and he has cancer. It was an awful situation and took me years to recover. I felt helpless. Nothing comes easy to me now - everything I do I have to push myself and I don't feel I ever do enough.

But the main thing is we try. Thats what is important. And you are trying. You are also adjusting to new meds and they can take time to work. And when they do your motivation may improve. Keep hoping 😊
