Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

Hi @Sans911 SCBC have checked back in with me. The guy I spoke to was lovely. I don't think he trusts me yet to be safe, wanting to ring back again about 5pm which I said was fine. Like you I don't feel 100% safe but am getting there. I've gone back home and hubby has taken kids out so can have a bit of a rest.

how are you going? I read your thread before but haven't moved of here all day. I am worried about you too @Sans911 especially when you go back home and next week. Do you ever ring anyone? I find for me SCBC are good and I have a file with them so I don't have to repeat myself all the time.

❤️Nell

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@Former-Member I've used the same service a lot but they are hard to get hold of sometimes. I'm setting up up a strategy next week to hopefully have my case manager available after my talk with my house mate. I'm worried too as I'm feeling more unsafe as I get closer to it. If necessary I will spend a night or two in hospital, something I hate doing, but it might be warranted. Unfortunately I can't come back to the respite place because they'll be full. And this place even with nurses here is not safe enough when they had no idea I over medicated yesterday. Besides that, it is about a 30min drive, where as the pysch hospital is 10mins. A longer drive would increase my risks enormously.

Good to hear you've got some time alone for a bit of rest.

Ok good im glad youve got some supports up and running
@Former-Member

@Sans911 hmm dont they monitor you in that sense? I mean isnt it their duty of care to take mediations off you and handle them according like kinda like a hospital or it doesnt really work like that?
I think having your mh worker on standby is a very good idea. I know going home is going to be very hard for you. You have our support too big sis. ❤❤

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

I agree @Sans911 they are hard to get hold of sometimes but I find the other services just float over the issues. At least with SCBC they will keep you on the line for longer.

The respite centre sounds good but yes you are right, if u can over medicate yourself then maybe hospital is better. I have been able to avoid hospital so far but I don't feel this will always be the case. I seem to be having SI more frequently than before.

Something you said in an earlier post about us being similar. I think we are in a lot of ways. I will just hold my tongue around people and always try and deal with things on my own. I think it has a negative effect sometimes such as this morning. But I don't know any other way, just who I am. It took me so long to see a psychologist at the start because I viewed myself as weak for not being able to deal with it on my own.

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@outlander - they are not neglectful. I was deliberate in keeping these particular meds from them. I probably shouldn't have even brought this up in these forums. And they do check on the patients every hour or so. All the meds make me do is sleep. Nothing more serious than that. So that's what it would have looked like. I've not done it today because I was possibly going out this afternoon. But I'm still not taking them at the moment.

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@outlander That message didn't make sense. Still not 100% safe. They are ringing me back again about 5pm.

In all of this I haven't asked how you are going today? I know you've been struggling too.
