@Former-Member yep, I understand. Because your just like me. Suck it up, put on I'm fine face. But, when you have a spare 5-10 later, why don't you tell your husband your not coping, bad memories are surfacing(you don't have to give him details) and let him hold you and have a good cry?

I know you feel physically sick and repulsed by what happened, but don't own that. I hear you blaming yourself & even at 14yo or at any age, we can be vulnerable and have our power taken from us. This person who did this to you, knew what to say and do to get what he wanted. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT EVER. NEVER EVER EVER. You will in time take back that power for yourself. You will in time forgive yourself.

Just popping on briefly, as I'm feeling achey and knocked out, but wanted to say "hi" and I understand.
So sorry to hear that you're having all these memories and it is so emotionally overwhelming for you.
I also had blocked my trauma from when I was 14 and didn't remember until my 30's.
It does feel like a horrible nightmare.

I will try and come in here as much as possible.
You're not being a burden at all.

I wish I was there in person, so I could help you through this awful time.

It can seem so daunting and unfortunately there's no quick fix, but it does get easier.

Please don't hesitate to ring someone when it feels overwhelming, or chat on here, if it helps. I'll check in every now and again and others will be around.
