The thing that has helped me this week with SI/SH issues is to think about what might be jeopardised if I went ahead with my impulses. So my appt with the pyschologist was the biggest thing. If I was in hospital or at home and unable to make his appointment, then I might lose him altogether (he was quite impressed when I told him that today). And I wouldn't want my mother to see my SH, nor would I ruin her weekend by being in hospital. Besides that I didn't leave home at all that day, except in the evening to go to the car auction of which I drove straight home. Completely forgot to by milk as well because I was so focused on not stopping anywhere.

I really don't know @Sans911, I am so confused.
I thought I did everything right today. Emailed psych, spoke to HC, updated my coping box, had plan B and C ready to go. I felt so prepared for what tonight might bring. But as soon as those SI/SH thoughts start screaming in my head, I feel so overwhelmed by it all.
I try to keep in my mind what is important to me. I have my special things, my photos, special trinkets, remove things, have numbers ready, all prepared.
The impulses have been so strong lately and it is getting harder and harder to fight them off. I know I have to keep fighting, I know I can't give up, I know all that. It is just so hard.
