@Former-Member @Sans911 ..... I think at some point you will both be advocates for mental health, along with others here .....
You will be behind a microphone somewhere - on radio or in a conference or something - telling people about what it feels like to be on the receiving end of treatment by kind, caring people, and what it is like to be treated harshly when life is already harsh ...... and that if treatment staff are experiencing burnout, then they need to be supported and maybe reassigned different duties until they can deal in compassion.
I think you will be advocating for children who have been traumatised and who have experienced mental health issues, either personally or within their environment .....
I think you will be making a difference as a result of your suffering.

@Faith-and-Hopea while ago with an old psych they said they i should go talk to people about mh issues. i declined it. its too triggerring for me but maybe when im through all this shite
