Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me
thanks @Sans911and @outlander
I am just hoping that he does not come back with the "why didn't you tell me earlier" line. I don't think I could cope if he said that too me.
Thanks to you both and everyone else for thier support. It does help to know that I have people I can rely on if it gets too much. BUT, DO NOT stay up tonight for me. You both need to SLEEP!!!

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me
@Former-Member I have been following along here but not wanting to 'jump in' as you have had some amazing support but I do want to let you know how strong and courageous I think you are - you really are
Tomorrow is going to be extremely difficult - no-one can deny that as fact - but even the fact that you have planned to do it shows courage that I definitely do not have. I saw F&H post on another thread to you where you described your night issues, feelings etc. as being pretty much what I had described in places here also - so I do get it - and it is so very, very hard. But @Sans911 has said - the fact that your husband wants to know shows that he is in a place himself that he will be able to support you. He may not have an idea about what is to 'come out' but he does know how he feels about you (and this is part of you) - and as difficult as it may be for him to hear, it may give him some insight into what he can do to support you. I think we sometimes underestimate how much people do want to understand and do want to help because of how we feel about our 'issues' and ourselves. I don't believe for one minute this is going to be easy on either of you but I do believe that once your husband gets past the initial anger that your relationship will only get stronger - that is my hope for you anyway @Former-Member - and I also hope that some of the burden is lifted off your shoulders and you are able to let others carry some of it for you in time. You will be in my thoughts tomorrow afternoon ![]()

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me
Thank you @Zoe7 for such kind words. I don't mind you "jumping in" at all.
I do hope that by sharing this with him that he and I will both have some more answers. I don't think he has any clue about what I am going to say and I think I am more concerned about how he will cope afterwards. I might have to book him in with my psychologist!
Besides on this forum, I have only every told my psychologist what happened. So telling him will be daunting, but something that I know will benefit me in the long run. ![]()

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me
@Sans911I am not sure. I spoke to someone at SANE this afternoon so not sure if that had something to do with the mods removing your post. I read it anyway and didn't trigger anything from my end![]()

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me
Hi @Former-Member, I have just read your email, thanks for sending that through.
I understand where you are coming from now. Don't apologise for doing what you think is right. @Sans911 got her point across in the end so no harm done. Better to be safe than sorry especially when we are dealing with difficult topics!!![]()
