Well the tears have stopped and today I just feel numb and mentally exhausted. Flashbacks are doing my head in and my anxiety seems to be shooting throught the roof. And I think I need to update my safety plan. YEP thats it (I hope you are not sorry you asked now!)

@Former-Member Yep it certainly is I didn;t want to jump in yesterday - you had enough people supporting you but I could feel your utter despair and pain and knew exactly what you would be feeling - so empty, so lost, so sick and so frightened. You did such an amazing job to get through the day and it is no wonder you want to hide under your doona today. You have been around the world of pain and back in only 24 hours and that is a hell of a lot to deal with. Really, really feel for you Nell

Not one bit sorry I asked @Former-Member. We often ask how people are they are going or how they are travelling but not actually how they are feeling!

No-one could have anticipated the circumstances you were faced with yesterday. I can definitelly understand that you are having flashbacks and your anxiety is incredibly high. It is also probably a good thing you have cried as it has been a release(even a small one) of your overwhelming feelings.

I think you are doing really well today - talking, taking time out when you need, re-connecting etc, - I don;t think I would be able to dothat if I was in your shoes - that is pretty damn courageous

Well I hope after today @Faith-and-Hope that it makes things a tiny bit easier for you and your family.
