@Sans911Thanks for all that info - the document from SARC/KEHM. I read it early this morning. I am not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing, but I think I can relate to pretty much all of it.

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

I don't expect a response, I just need to get some thoughts out.

These flashbacks I have had the past couple of days are destroying me from the inside. The constant thought of them, i cannot handle it, and I am lost as what to do. I try and distract myself, I try self care, but I just don't care anymore. I know I shouldn't say this as it is selfish, but right now I don't care if I live or not.

I can't even get the words out properly. Nights are so painful with my thoughts. Nothing is helping, nothing will change. The flashbacks are so terrible, that I say so myself, how could I let that happen, how could I do that. I am so tired of trying and haven't got anything left to fight it. It just feels helpless. I can't stop crying.

@Former-Member ..... despite the issues like @Sans911 has experienced with hospital, is taking hospital respite an option for you ? Particularly in private clinics there are other people here who have gained more of a foothold that way ..... stronger medications, including sleep medications, can be administered in hospital, and there are staff to talk to, and support classes to join in with.

That sort of time-out can provide something of a re-set, and give the dr's a clearer understanding of how badly you are being affected, and what your mindset is ......

Hugs Hon ..... 💜💐💕

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@Former-Member oh, hun I'm sorry for your suffering. It's no where near you fault these flash backs are happening. The memories were always there, in your subconscious, and unfortunately have been triggered by recent effects. The lack of sleep is compounding the problem too, and I'm kinda in agreement with @Faith-and-Hope that you might need some time out somewhere safe to rest, get some sleep with strong drugs and/or individual therapy. You can't go on this, especially when you have to look after your children. Sleep deprevation can make you do all sorts of things, but crashing you car is a biggie.

@Sans911 @Faith-and-Hope

I don't know what to do, I don't know where to go. I am so ashmaed that I can't deal with it. I am scared to go somewhere. I am embarassed what people will think (and I know how stupid that sounds because I wouldn't think that of them).

I just want it gone, i can't help myself anymore

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@Former-Member try not to feel shame, I know it's easier to do. Put the blame back where it belongs. In the other person who dared to treat you that way. Get angry with the injustices against you. Could you ring Blue Knot Helpline on 1300 657 380. It is a support service. They may have some answers or resources to help you cope better.
