Hi @MDT - You really should go for the TESOL course. There are many available online and they aren't ardous at all. I have just completed one. I would suggest then that you travel overseas somewhere cheap such as Thailand. It is really very chill there and you would be able to connect with their large expat community. Go for one of the regional areas rather than Bangkok or the islands.
Often the teaching English jobs require a degree and any degree will suffice. Along with the TESOL qualification, you should be able to secure a job whilst you work on your mental health issues.

Good on you for landing that tutoring gig. Travel really does broaden the mind @MDT. Everyone blends in in Thailand. You would be amazed at the diversity and friendliness.
Keep your options open. Hope your day continues well.

Sorry to hear that you missed out on the phone job @MDT. But you did pick up the tutoring so there has been a plus for today. What is this networking thing that you have on? Is it something to do with uni?

Your call @MDT as to whether you would get something out of it. Seems that many opportuniteies these days come from networking. A case of who you know rather than what you know.
