Now what?

Now what?

Good morning all

So I've come to the conclusion that I need to continue to live, survive the daily battles. For everyone that loves me. I've understood that I have to take responsibility and that I have to participate in day to day life and also start earning a living again.

As I am writing this I can see the flaw in my thinking. I understand things on an intellectual level. I've also understood on an emotional level that it would have a traumatic impact on everyone who loves me if I hurt myself.

But where does that leave me?

Re: Now what?

Hi @outlander

I am still managing to do a lot of things. But it's like you say, put the cartoon or clown face on and walk through life. I laugh, I joke, I participate, I do what people expect. which is little these days. But I feel dead inside most of the time. What makes it worse is I have every reason to be grateful and I have a really hard time accepting that I can still feel shit even if I have every reason to be grateful. Just being able to live in peace in a peaceful country and not having a terminal disease should be baseline happiness. My head is f* up, and I do struggle with that.

How's your day?

Re: Now what?

@Former-Member yes those are the basics of life neccessities but so are alot of other things. you can still be grateful and have depression/anxiety and a range of other things. these illnesses dont discriminate.

people can still also function with these things and while they might feel empty are often the kindest people becasue they have known hardships.
