Re: not coping

I'm doing well tonight so far, thanks @outlander but my new time of logging off is now 7.30, to try and get into a better sleep habit. Yes, I went for a couple of walks 🙂

What did you order for dinner?

Re: not coping

Ordering dinner sounds like a good idea hun. Saves cooking

Sorry to hear your stomach is hurting sweetie, hoping it settles soon for you @outlander

My day has been ok. Helped D change her room around and cleaned S's room. He really is a boy and leaves crap everywhere. Found 3 plates and 5 water bottles in his room 😒😒😒

Re: not coping

your good with your times and boundaries here hey @NatureLover

do you go to bed pretty early? im never asleep before 11 (and 11 is early for me)

i just ordered some chinese tonight. we dont order it or anything all that often so this is a nice treat as long as i stay away from rice and pasta and deep fried (so ill get a stirfry or something thats not full of spices etc)

Re: not coping

@NatureLover it is good to have boundaries in place. We have to remember to look after ourselves first. I don't normally last past 8:30. I normally am in bed and taken my meds before 9 at the latest.

Re: not coping

I don't feel I have been that good with my times and boundaries, @outlander , but I'm working on it. Yes, I can't function after about 8.30 or 9pm, so I sleep at 9pm and wake up early too (before 6). That's what suits my body clock. But most people I know are night owls, so I'm out of sync. I am missing out on supporting you and the others in the evenings, for instance. But never mind, I'm no good in the evenings anyway, and I can catch up on your threads in the morning 🙂

(I feel really insensitive mentioning sleep when so many people including you hardly get any sleep 😞 - sorry)

Chinese stir-fry sounds good, I hope you are able to eat quite a bit of it 🙂

Hooray, someone else who goes to bed early! 🙂 @Snowie

Re: not coping

boys! @Snowie 😑🤦‍♀️ my pop is seriously just as bad or he will use the same cup till its filithy and really needs washing. hes a grub in general though not just in the bedroom.

Changing Ds room around sounds like a good mum/daughter time though. i dont change my room around very often. i get new furniture(but im happy with the way everything is now so i wont get anything else) but the way my room is set up is the same way as it was when my mum was with her first partner got together and before they had my first sister (so over 18yrs ago)
the decor changes but the layout doesnt. guess it just works well 🤷‍♀️

Re: not coping

no its not insensitive at all @NatureLover honestly id much rather you have your self care and bed times to what suits you. im glad that you and others sleep, dont feel guilty for that

i go to bed late and wake early. thats pretty much my bed clock too but i fatigue easily so the later it gets the quicker i fatigue but dont actually sleep. kinda hoping that makes sense. but whats surprising is that i actually studied better at night, even if i did fatigue easy. even through high school and still now i always study better at night. probably cause im not disturbed so often and i feel ive gotten everything i needed to do done in the daytime.

Re: not coping

Thank you, you're such a generous-hearted person, @outlander , I got lucky meeting you on here.

I'm not surprised you fatigue easily, although it sounds like you did before it became difficult to eat, as well? And maybe you also studied well at night if you're a night owl by nature?

I actually have no idea how you keep going, on virtually no sleep or food... 😥
