Yes, lego is an explosion of colour and mess. As is chalk. And cooking. And slime. And pretty much everything they do.

Hey @outlander sorry I disappeared for a while. I had several phone calls, plus sorting my dinner & Mr A as well. Looks like you had some good company for that time which is nice.

And I know you say you feel out of sorts in all sorts of places but perhaps this is an appropriate and safe place for now. You don't have to stay here any longer than you want.

Ouchy for the cost if car repairs hun. Is it worth getting another opinion, or do you trust the mechanic you went to? You had a busy day today.

it is tough atm, easter and more days upcoming are anniversaries. so trying to just get through atm
slime, chalk, cooking, lego and well anything that involves kids seems to be quite messy but at least they are occupied!
my youngest sister got heaps of crafty stuff for easter as we aren't big chocolate eaters so shes bene doing that those like egg painting and puzzles along with the usual playdough, slime and coming to the horses with me

ive had the car looked at before but this guy really went right over the car properly and told me everything that's wrong rather then guessing whats wrong.

I brought the 3 parts so far for it and hes reduced his price to 200 instead. the original pricing was for all 5 parts but I don't think ill be buying those parts. they aren't urgent and honestly doesn't decrease the value of the car very much so theres a chance ill just leave it and advertise it with and let people know the faults. ill see how I go money wise first.
I always seem to get the lemon cars, but I cant live without it. the next car I look at I think ill be paying a mechanic to go right over it to check for everything and anything next time.

He sounds reasonable then. You are a bit like my mum with her cars. They're not bad, but seem to be a bit of a money pit to own. I've never had too much trouble with cars over the years. Sounds like you need me to come with you next time. My mum always asks for my advice and help with buying and selling cars.

My laptop has died tonight. Hopefully it's just a simple case of overheating. I left it on my bed and playing a movie when I was talking on the phone. It starts but then freezes. So I can see a black screen that flickers. And that's it. I've put it aside and will check it in the morning.

Its only been my last 2 cars. Both of which have been the same sort. My very first little car was only gotten rid of because mums partner at thr time took my car out fishing and reveresed straight into 2 of those concrete peir type poles so smashed all the boot in and the taillights and it was more to fix then what buying a new car was so i brought something abit bigger and didnt have any issues except a few minor things here and there generally because i had to keep taking to the horses and it wasnt built for that sort of road so fixed it and brought another one but a small 4x4 (which is the one i shared here) however the gearbox blew up within 3 weeks of owning it and done a dodgy dealing from a car yard. I found out that quite a few people have had the quick cover ups to get it out of the yard sort of dealings from the same car yard as well so wasnt just me. It was going to cost nearly 4000 to get that repaired so cut my losses and sold it extremely cheap and as a parts car.
Then i got the one i have now which is also a small 4x4. It hasnt been bad mechanically or anything its just alot of minor stuff right up under the car where you wouldnt think to check and all deciding to happen right now rather then spread out. Most are because the parts are just worn out or just old and need upgrading. I only paid 1300 for it though but ive spent almost a thousand including the 3 parts i brought today (with 2 more to go yet) and the mechanic fees since ive had it. Its only worth 2500 at max so im just fixing the more urgent and noticeable stuff right now.


Oh no! I hope its only an overheating issue 🤯 i cant watch movies for long the on mine otherwise it gets very hot too. Computers can be so expensive to fix too.
