Re: not coping

Sometimes we don't have the answers @outlander and thats ok.

Have you been up to much today hun?

In response to: Re: not coping

Re: not coping

not really @Snowie
have been at home and done abit of washing.
I got my car looked at for one things and got told it needs 5 things replacing. to buy 4 of the things it needs is 240 (the rest is another 200) but then the mechanic is going to charge another 300 on top of that to replace the parts.

have you been up to much?

Re: not coping

Thats a lot for your car hun but I guess it has to be done. We need our cars to get around.

I had my course today via zoom. It went well, I would rather it be with others in real life but I guess at the moment this is as good as it will get. The topics were interesting today @outlander so even though it is exhausting it is also good. Other then that just washing and cooking tea.

Have you got much planned for tomorrow?

Re: not coping

yeah but the amount of repairs that ive put into it is already costing me more then what the cars worth. the original intention was to replace the one part I knew about then sell it so I can get something bigger and better to tow my float but it looks like im going to have to fix more first. at least when its done I can put the max price they go for on it as ill have the receipts from everything that ive done/upgraded.
im glad your course went well today. I imagine its tricky being online. while I like most things online I think Id prefer to some appointments and therapies in person instead.
I think I really should study tomorrow. I enrolled 2 weeks ago while I was doing the dementia course (finished that last week) but it didn't open up till Monday, haven't really even looked at it yet and kinda regretting taking it on now that my mh has really gone down. I was okish 2 weeks ago and didn't anticipate going down this hard and fast but I don't really want to drop out of it either

Re: not coping

Well then hopefully you can get it fixed and then sell it @outlander

It's hard to try and find that motvation when our mh goes down. Of course you could not have anticipated this 2 weeks ago hun. Hopefully doing this course will keep you occupied, might even help a little. Well we can hope anyway!

Well done on finishing the dementia course hun, I hope it was beneficial for you.

I have gp early tomorrow morning and then dietician in the afternoon. The gp is in person but the dietician is just a phone consult. I really need help with my diet. I find I don't eat when my mental health declines, but I can't loose too much more weight.

Re: not coping

yeah ill get there slowly with it @Snowie ive had some savings put aside to go towards a new car but I think ill wait, get this one fixed and increase value and then in july I can go for a loan so enough time to get my savings up again to add back in as well.

the dementia course was meh, didn't really help that much tbh, ive got another addition to the course in may so might add abit more info but think the aim was to just get through it mostly.
the course ive got now is just medical admin and will go with the medical terminology courses ive done previously.

I hope your gp goes ok and that the dietician can help you as well. I have a womens health nurse whose also a dietician but I haven't found her as helpful atm though, probably cause ive exhausted her too.

Re: not coping

Well hoping this course is beneficial to you hun @outlander

I was thinking of doing a course online too. Not sure what it will be or when it will be but will look into it at some stage.

I am hoping the dietician can help me too, I find when my mh goes down my lack of eating is one of the first things that goes downhill.

Will say goodnight to you hun, don't feel great so going to try and sleep early.

I hope you get some sleep tonight sweetheart. It was really nice talking to you, especially since I know you are doing it super hard at the moment.

Will check in on you tomorrow.

Lots of love and hugs 💌💕

Re: not coping

yeah that is the same for me too, its hard to eat when we don't feel up for it.
