Re: not coping

Then again, do you WANT to have friends to hang out with?

That is, when you are working and they want to see you, would you go and meet them? @outlander

Re: not coping

yes @tyme i want friends to hang out

when i go out with the work friend its nice and freshing. i try with another one but she drains me because all she does is complain about everything.
i dont want friendships based on negativity-i dont mind supporting of course but i dont want every encounter to be a ranting session for the entire duration
i work hard to make sure i dont have alot of negativity about my circumstances etc when i interact as it never ends well and its not a good balance for the other person either.
i actually like going out with one or 2 people. anymore is abit overwhelming but i use to be around alot of people with the horses (who obviously werent friends since they dumped me when i was injured) but i use to enjoy their company

Re: not coping

True @outlander , makes sense.

I guess friendships are also give and take. They can be draining and vice versa. I guess those boundaries are important.

Would you consider studying a bit more? Or you won't have time?

Re: not coping

i had thought about doing a counsellors degree @tyme but im not to sure. i dont really have the mental capacity for it atm.
might look into a skills course or 2 throughout the year.

Fair enough. @outlander I don't either!

Re: not coping

It gets tough trying to work and study sometimes esp when it’s a more intense study @tyme

In the last 4 years I’ve aquired 4 major certificates plus done around 20 skills courses in between. I think a few months off might do me some good

Re: not coping

True that @outlander . Rest is good. Gives you time to catch up for yourself. I really hope things work out for you.

What are your plans for tomorrow?

Re: not coping

No plans @tyme still on leave. Have car running now so might go for a walk. Not suppose to drive yet but better than sitting at home again all day. Nice beach 10 min from me so might go there.

What are your plans

Re: not coping

I feel like I'm still catching my tail @outlander . So pretty busy doing things tomorrow I guess. But I'll see you in the evening.

I'm heading off. See you then 🙂
