Re: not coping

when mums home am I suppose to try again or leave it? do I say something else or explain whats happening or what do I do?
I don't know what im suppose to do now, most people have a conversation not ignore so I don't know. im still going to be expected to watch the kids and im going to have to work around everything for any appts or procedures I have. ive already got mums roster for the next 2 weeks plus the regular stuff etc and im struggling to know where to put it in.

the kids go back to school full time on Monday but a lot of the days I have to pick them up from school and have them till late so where do I fit in the time.
im to scared to ask her for more days off and theres no one else to help.

Re: not coping

My sweet girl, I really can't add any more than @eth , @Sans911 @Snowie and @Lee82 already have said. But know I am thinking of you and if I could I would be there in a heartbeat to take you and I would sit there with you all night and day if needed until you where ready to come home. @outlander , I really hope you get there tonight and get some more relief for your pain. 🦕🌻🦖

Re: not coping

Hun I know it's hard but I think you just need to put your foot down and tell everyone what you need. I know that this will be a difficult thing to do because I don't do it with my own mother but know I need to do that too. I am always there every single day to help her. She always dumps all this shit on me whilst I have a million things of my own stuff to do. I have always had to arrange my stuff around her. We both just need the strength to tell them what we need for once. @outlander

Re: not coping

Always here @outlander 💚

how did you go sleeping in an upright position the other night. Did it help at all or was it too uncomfortable?

Re: not coping

It might be difficult having that conversation when she gets home at midnight @outlander. She might not want to go there. Why do you think she ignored you? Doesn't she believe you or perhaps she thinks you're being dramatic again (not that I think that)? Perhaps you can go to the emergency department tonight after she comes home? Or after you dropped the girls off to school in the morning. She is your mother, and you are still her responsibility.

Re: not coping

I know shes at work @Sans911 but it doesn't seem to matter when I tell her or try to talk to her. Its always an eye roll or theres no response. I cant tell her everything that goes wrong me cause its to much for me to handle so I only try to tell her the more important things. ive stopped telling her about the dental stuff basically just the days I need her to have off so I can go to Sydney or other appointments but other then that we barely communicate much. I stuffed up our relationship so badly (I mean it wasn't great before and was always pressured/high expectations etc) but since ive had mh issues (or actually brought up that I was struggling and have mh issues) the caring gone out the window and its not just her either, no one in the family wants to hear anything to with me. I have to stay in the background all the time.

the kids aren't at school tomorrow, mum has them till the arvo but I have important commitments till about 10am tomorrow so cant go straight away. I am to scared to go on my own. it feels like its not an emergency and like it should be handled by my gp. its always being said around here that unless its an emergency you should see your gp.
