That’s good @outlander. A chilled day is what you need and deserve. I hope they stay asleep for you for a while.

Re: not coping

its usually pretty easy going on weekends or of an afternoon @Captain24 they do most of their activities before 4pm so by that time theyre tired and happy to watch movies for the rest of the day. weekends their happy to laze about after busy weeks. one goes out today so hes ready and waiting for his other support workers to come and pick him up.

what are your plans for today

Re: not coping

That’s good that it’s pretty easy @outlander.

Ive got a massive list of things to do. I thought today was going to be just a me day but my brother, his girlfriend, my niece and her boyfriend are all coming to stay tonight. So I have to organise a BBQ for when the arrive at 8 tonight. I also have to clean the house, clean the bbq and bath pixie. Plus a lot of other things so that it’s already for them.

If it starts snowing I have to take a friend to go and see the snow. I’m not looking forward to it but she did spend a couple of hrs here yesterday looking after Pix for me. She will probably come around this afternoon anyway to bring Pix’s boyfriend around.

That’s my day in a nutshell! 😂

thats a pretty big nutshell haha i hope you can get everything you need to do done before your guests arrive. i know you like seeing your family so i hope its a nice reset for you too.
going to the snow sounds exciting. i get the snow winds here but it doesnt snow which is sort of good in a way but i can travel a couple of hours where it does snow during the snow season

Re: not coping

I could really do with a hypo episode right now! @outlander

If it snows it’ll only be a 30 min drive. It doesn’t actually snow here in town. It’s only surface snow around here it’s several hrs to ski fields. I couldn’t think of anything worse though! I lived in a town at the base of the Blue Mountains and it use to snow there. It was actually warmer there than here. As we only get the winds here too.

Re: not coping

i have heard that the winds the surrounding areas receive are usually worse than the cold at the actual snow field. @Captain24
the snow is still pretty i guess even the surface snow esp if you havent seen it before
