Re: not coping

@Captain24 @tyme I tried and I’m out again 😞
I tried to create a safe space in my room but since the aunt that use to live with us use to invade my space and go through my room that feeling has gone. I thought getting my reptile would have helped and it does sometimes but not so much in the night time.

Re: not coping

That's so awesome... sad too @Captain24 . It's something you can be proud of.

Have you read The Happiest Refugee? Such an awesome book.

Re: not coping

I’m sitting at the beach but I’ve given myself a time limit if 15 minutes and then head home because I need to shower and get ready for a 5am start

Re: not coping

I’ve done what I said and am leaving to head home now @tyme I was sitting in the car just watching the waves. Im always safe I know the safer areas for night so I usually stick to those but in general this area is pretty safe

Usually 430. I only need to get changed and head out the door and it only takes me 15 minutes or less depending on the time of the day to get to where I work. Tomorrow is a chill day and clients don’t need to be up and functioning till around 8/830 so I let them sleep in as much as possible and just lay on the couch playing games on my phone till they start to stir.

Re: not coping

That’s rough that she invaded your privacy like that @outlander.

I find the beach calming but it’s 4 hrs away so I don’t go very often.

I hope you are rugged up and taking in the ocean

Re: not coping

She done it a couple of times @Captain24 I installed cameras into my own room because of it and captured it a couple of times. I usually buy a nice candle to sort of get my room back to being calm but I don’t have any at the moment. Thank god she has moved out about a month or 2 ago now but the house has never really been mine i just sort is stay here. My entire lot of belongings can fit into my room. Everything in the house is pops or someone else’s that they have brought and given him or it’s just basics stuff like cutlery etc not really anyone’s specifically. Hopefully it will change within the next year

Re: not coping

It's a book about a refugee from Vietnam. Shows how he and the family struggled. It's Anh Do, the famous comedian and author of many children's graphic novels like Hot Dog etc. @Captain24 He hasn't had it easy, nor his family.

I’m back home now @tyme @Captain24 and had a shower. I’ll watch some videos on my phone for abit I think. The drive and getting out seemed to help abit
