Re: not coping

Hey @outlander ,

That does not sound pleasant at all! I've have a lingering headache/migraine the last two days and it's frustrating me enough!

Are you going to have the scan soon? I hope everything will be okay.

How do you feel about it?

it is definently one step at a time like building a path one lego piece at a time thats for sure. every step is a process and every process is a piece of the puzzle. its hard when i feel like im going alone in this. i feel like in some ways the court hearing to become a guardian should be kept a secret so it actually goes smoothly.

@hanami the trip itself was quite good, traffic was good. i got in and out of the appointment quickly but the migraine i had made the trip home very hard as i was struggling to see, alot of nausea, and my throat kept swelling up and obviously a very painful headache. but the trip overall was ok.

@Snowie @tyme
i think the medications and basically sleeping the last 2 days has helped quite a fair bit. i went for a walk today though and passed out because of my heart so need to get that investigated as well and some other scans on my eyes and head. i just hope the headaches stay away. i guess going to work tomorrow may be the test as to how they are tracking abit more

Re: not coping

Oh dear @outlander , I'm so sorry to hear all this is happening! Is it stress related at all? It's such a scary thing.

Do you have any plans, moving forward, about what you are going to do about the scan, health etc?

Re: not coping

we arent to sure what has caused them as yet @tyme it could be a stress trigger. these are actually called cluster headaches its a form of headache thats quite severe. i havent had them as long as this before though. usually i get severe headaches but for a couple of days but these ones have last almost 6 weeks at that point.
the dr may refer me back to a neurologist to do some investigations as it may be related to a previous injury that i had in my neck (close to breaking my neck) a couple of years ago in an accident.

i will speak to my gp next week to have a chat to see where to go. ive had heart troubles for a while but the cardiologist kept telling me it was because im unfit so im asking to be referred to someone new for a second opinion.

Re: not coping

@outlander I hope the cluster headaches disappear, those are not so good. I hope you are able to find a suitable cardiologist 💖🫂

Re: not coping

I hope it goes well @outlander . I'm sure @creative_writer knows how hard it is to live with headaches and migraines.

At least for me I can take some painkillers. I really need to not complain about a headache.

I'm hearing you both and hope it gets better.
