Re: not coping

That must make it hard on you then @outlander That is a long time on the phone. Have you suggested to her that she needs to go get help. However it would be hard to tell her that.

Perhaps you can tell her that you need to go to work or look after Pop. Any excuse to get of the phone.

I know things have been difficult for you lately hon. You have been through some major changes in your life.

Re: not coping

its not so much mental health for her @Snowie shes just having work trouble but shes an 'I' person so every conversation is about her, currently a work issue but it gets tiring. alot of the time i have the phone on loud speaker but i start to zone out. its worse when im tired. shes going to work now so shes off the phone.

it has been really hard lately

Re: not coping

Glad she is off the phone @outlander That must have been a very long conversation. It is hard when they are "I" people. Everything gets turned around to them.

I'm sorry it has been hard for you.

Re: not coping

oh ill bet there is so much washing to do now yourback home! i swear we need a day or 2 dedicated to post holiday washing and cleaning! @Snowie

its good you get to see your pdoc tomorrow. do you have anything else planned?

In response to: Re: not coping

Re: not coping

I did do some washing when we were away @outlander but obviously not enough!!

Had to wash the dog too last night

Not much else planned. Kids go back to school tomorrow from holidays so will essentially be back to normal. With all the time my psych and pdoc have been away, normal sounds nice!

Do you have much planned?

Re: not coping

Did the dog go with you on holidays? @Snowie

I don’t think the washing ever stops esp when you’re getting changed everyday sometimes more. At least the holiday makes the washing worth while though

We have one more day of holidays here then back to normal.

I have a hairdresser appt for pop in the morning and then work again

Re: not coping

No the dog didn't come with us. Where we go you have to have a permit for a dog in the winter time. She goes into a kennel near us @outlander She has been there before. Not sure if she likes it but she is treated well there.

I like the holidays as no school runs, but getting back to the norm is nice too.

How many days work do you have in a row?
