Hi @Zoe7 @outlander 💜
Yes dinner over .. turned out nice.
But Mr Sherry doing everything he could to pick an argument. He had a friend over for drinks this arvo. So things were really strained and not at all good. All kinds of ridiculous accusations and 3rd degree drilling. Honestly .. given I never go anywhere .. how the hell? 😳
Anyway .. sorry @outlander for not getting back to you sooner. But I see you have been given lots of good advice. In fact little for me to add.
I agree its sounds like a good option to defer your course. It is so uncharacteristic of you to stuff up as you did with those two assignments. So clearly you have too much on your mind right now. Failure does not put you in a good frame of mind. So risking that again, would be a poor option. I expect you will be able to do it again in future, when you are better able to cope with it ... and excel in your usual manner.
The dementure course I differ a little to others. I know you need a distraction, I know you enjoy study. My understanding is that its a one off course with no connection to further study? Its essentially an information thing for carers and other loved ones to learn how to deal wirh dementia patients. Please correct me if Im wrong? And likely there is no formal certification nor a pass or fail rating? My opinion would be to stick wirh this one if you can.
Your siblings. Hmmm ... I think you know my opinion on that one. 😬 If my recollection is correct, your eldest sibling has her driving licence Ls, or maybe Ps by now. That means she is 16/17. I was working as a baby sitter when I was younger than that. Surely she could occasionally take responsibility for her younger siblings, rather than you having to do it all the time.
Well done on organising with MyAgedCare for some help with your Pop. A little fib about why they are there is appropriate I believe. Lets hope they connect.
Only one more sleep until you see your GP and get an explanation of your scan results. Try to feel excited that you are one step closer to getting some answers and finally getting relief from pain.
