Re: not coping

I can imagine you would be @Zoe7 it seems like you have a nice class to teach. Im sure your quickly becoming a favourite with the kids from the other class too 😁 When all is back to normal, your playground duties may be filled with little hellos from the other students 😏

@outlander , just wanted to say hello and see if I could possibly support you in anyway but I see you have some of the best support on offer here. So with that I send you my love and support. 💖

@Zoe7 , hope the rest of your pain leaves you soon. Just wondering what you do for a living, because you have such wise and insightful advice.

Re: not coping

@Former-Member I really feel for you though I don't have much advice. I wish you were treated much better then you are.

the dementia course is run every few months @Former-Member I completed the first one and then theres a second one. if I withdraw from this second one I can redo it in July when they run it again. Its called Preventing Dementia through The Wicking Dementia Centre. it basically alternates between the first and second course.

the support worker that's coming tomorrow that im interviewing is through a private company not my aged care yet. sorry that was probably confusing to read before.
I have to wait for the myagedcare assessor to get in contact to arrange a time etc which apparently can take a few months esp with all the delays atm.

yeah, my other sister does take some responsibility for the youngest one sometimes. a few hours and here and there.

thankfully my gp appt is first up in the morning so I don't have to wait all day. just trying to be patient and keep distracted for now.

Re: not coping

Yeah it will be nice @outlander to know more of those kids in the playground now. Most of my duties are actually with the kinder kids so that is super cute.

@Former-Member I am a teacher Hon - primary school - but I have worked in high school and college. Before that I was a child support and crisis worker at a DV shelter (part-time) and worked in research (part-time).

Re: not coping

oh my gosh lol yes I can imagine! @Zoe7 your schools cool to have bikes! none of the schools around here have bikes except for pre-schools.
don't you worry about getting run over?

Re: not coping

I did get run into earlier in the term and had to be brought home. It was the week after I hurt my back and it put it out again so now the kids have to go a different way ....all in the same direction - which makes it safer and easier to watch @outlander
