Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

@eudemonism

the struggle for you is getting through the side effects of your injection each month...

you can talk again to your doctor about this...there are newer medications that may or may not be suitable...

you can also tell yourself....the injection bombs me out and I have fatigue after...you know the timeframe.

can you set up a calendar...or chart and stick it where you can see it every day...

during the period of fatigue from injection....no goal setting to achieve huge dreams..no repetitive stuff..

self-care time...

listening to your favourite music...

mindfulness

art...have you coloured in any of those mandelas with coloured pencils? that is actually very calming..

when I first saw people doing that...I thought oh how boring....it actually helps you zone out..

gentle activities...just pick one...

get your housework done before injection....dont do it after injection other than basic kitchen bathroom hygiene..

a bit like it you were working using a daily planner, a weekly planner, a monthly planner...

you can tick off what you achieve...watch your progress...then when the negative thinking kicks in..look at what you have achieved..

what do you think? worth a try?

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@Former-Member I actually think they want me drugged up and sedated. Why? Cause it means all round less problems for themselves. On a personal and professional level. And it means their dealing with a zombie. And zombies don't fight back against the wrong that's been done to them.

It's never been about dealing with my mental health issues. And the causes. Because the complete picture of society is in on it. The normal me. Means more problems for everyone else. So they don't want the normal me. They want the medicated me. And they want to ignore everything else. And they never want to have too deal with my perfectly normal problems. Because it's an inconvenience. That's my honest opinion.

They don't wanna take a back seat to my own life. They don't wanna deal with the real problems I got. Because they don't wanna stop reading from the text book they were trained with. They don't wanna admit they been wrong all along. They don't wanna see me flourish and prosper and exceed and excel. Because it means they'll have to face their own Insecurities. They don't wanna be my friend and decent people toward me. Because I'm an easy enemy. I'm an easy victory. That adds a notch to their scoreboard of egotism and self worth. It's that simple. Eude.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@Former-Member

I'm tired of being medicated and my entire life being revolved around mental health issues and the mental health system. Day in. Day out. It's the same old thing. And then everything good in my life. Becomes a coping mechanism. It's a joke hey.

I'm not who I'd naturally be. And society don't want me for who I naturally am. I've been subjected too far too many people's opinions. Which stuck like glue. The entire mental health system. Is a load of rubbish.

Eude.

@Friendconnect there is only so much I can do for myself. When I'm dealing with side effects. And twelve years of mental health system brain wash. Eude.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@Friendconnect a recovery from what? And a recovery too what? Being a subjective patient? Who allows themselves to be brain washed? Eude. And sits here and needlessly suffers from the side effects of pharmaceutical drugs?
