Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Half the problem. Is having to carry the cross for the mental health worker who diagnosed me and is still my case manager. 12 years later. Meanwhile she's doing her little budism rituals and being a good sinner. Lmao. True hey? Well at least now I have realized what's going on. And can avoid her at all costs. Because it jeopardizes my mental wellness. I hope she wakes up to herself one day. Eude.

That is like. The biggest epiphany of truth I've had in the last twelve years! Yeah. Trying to be there for people who think they are righteous. Think they done no wrong. Who just place all their nonsense on other people too carry. Is a huge burden. And it don't amount to health or happiness. In any way, shape, form or nature. Then they are so quick to judge you, run you down, keep files on you, stand over you, bring their words against you. Tell you you're mentally ill. Collect their paycheck. And think they doing a good deed for people and society. Why are people like this in a position of authority over the weak and vulnerable?

Versations sorting out my thoughts...hello @eudemonism

have been wondering how you are..

sounds as though too many thoughts are racing around in your head...making hard work at sorting out what you want to do..

I do realise that sometimes my responses are all about how you can start on some of your goals..

it might sometimes make you think we'll how would she know..she is not inside my head...

quite correct..

I do know that Eude is there..Eude who does love his dog even though some days the dog can be a pain in the neck..

Eude who wanted to set up his home..change the rooms around..buy fridge..freezer..planning to buy bulk..budget efficiently..cook meals and freeze some..

then there is the garden..growing your own fruit..vegetables..herbs..

I think to myself these goals are well thought out..a start to bring about change..

change can only happen when we take the first step..this you have done..then we have to add more time..

work out a plan..what is most important to continue with at moment?

garden? Food in fridge? Walk dog? Beach..calming..

you have broken the circle..the negative voice in your head is trying to stop you making these changes..if that happens the negative voice loses some of its power.

Don't worry about what other people might be thinking...they are probably thinking about their own worries..

me..I am trying to decluttering..I have realised that I am officially a hoarder...so have started working through wardrobe in 2 bedrooms..making big mess..in each room..I am making large piles to go..

have to do it slowly..aggravating my back..annoying..

so have been warding off my depression..doing lots of breathing..telling myself that I am ok..I am me..

working on negative patterned thinking...developing answers to replace such damaging thinking..

It certainly gets very busy in our minds some days I think well what exactly did I do today..

Another epic reply

Good morning @eudemonism, @Former-Member

@eudemonism, yes I don`t say much as I was mentally abused when i was young bt my father until mum and I had to leave because of my health and I still have trouble writting down what i think

to put what is in my mind on to paper is hard for me , as well as having Physical problems and what I have been through in my life as well does not help and My husband has had MI all his life

being angry does not work my friend , we all could be angry about something in our life , and being angry is no good for us either == trying to show my husband it is no good for him

so let me know a postive that happen today later --- My huband has inherited the negative gene from his family going right back

Sorry to everyone for the technical error which occured, it doesn't seem to have effected your always supportive conversation with one and another luckily!

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Ah @Former-Member the last week or so has gone quite well. Even though there's been some stormy moments. And a cluster of thoughts in my mind.

We're all hoarders. I think..

Eude.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@Shaz51 I'm reading... It's a story that's far too common... I feel very spooked, shocked and traumatized when in some situations. Not sure why. All I know us that it's uncomfortable. Am slowly getting better though. Eude.
