Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Hi @Former-Member

I only just checked the forum from my last entry. Since then I've been for a walk to the beech. I took Mister. And he loved it. He ran back and forth along the shore line of (ahead of me) as I did my dawdle along the waters edge with no shoes on. He ends up soaking wet and it's his bath at the same time. It was windy but I didn't mind. The fresh air was worth it. I sat down on the sand for awhile and had a ten minute mindful session. It was good.

I hope you come good and have some good times in the coming week. Whatever they may be. I find watering plants is a good motivation and chemical boost. It does something I swear. You don't sound your usual self? Like things are becoming overwhelming? I'm with you in thoughts and hope you find enough peace of mind too meditate ans

@Former-Member cont accidently pressed post button on my cheap smart phone.

And prey on a good outcome for yourself within reason of what you can control.

@Former-Member

Sunshine, fresh air, some time in the garden. Pat the cats. Apricots are In season. Plant a tree that signifies a new beginning.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Am so pleased for you @eudemonism

you took mister to the beach and waded through the shallow water......That is just one of the best feelings..

one of the downsides living in the outer hills of the city where we live..

you both gained from the experience..he will be loving you all the more...you are building a strong relationship with him...he will become your guardian....special bond there..

astute of you to notice...I am still recovering from medication they gave me when I had ct coronary angiogram..am very washed out and drained physically and emotionally...

I shall gradually get my mojo back...

have been reading about chakras today...have in the past then lost the memory I the fog of my mind at present..

interesting stuff...I have an open mind about old ways..

Sadly I did not get out for my walk today...had long chat with husband about so much going on out of our control...cleared some of the cobwebs..also hours of domestic stuff that I loathe...

so score from day one is 1 to eude & 0 to moh

tomorrow... Where will you walk tomorrow?

I am even more determined now

thanks again for caring my friend....moh

@Former-Member

I'll find somewhere to walk. Probably around a few blocks. Down the street. Or too a friend's house.
