Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@eudemonism Personally I forgive because it makes me feel better. If I was to hold onto something bad that someone had done to me and thought about it all the time it would make me feel sick and miserable. That is why I would forgive for myself, it would set me free.

Nah I don't think so @Bunniekins

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Bill16Me neither although it does happen to me sometimes get religous I mean .... and I do believe in life after death just not in a religious sense or spiritual sense if you know what I mean.

@eudemonism I just think that holding grudges is bad for people. It doesn't affect the person who has perpertrated the deed all it does it make the victim of the deed unhappy. So that is different from what Jesus meant I think. I think what Jesus meant was that no one is without sin so cannot throw the first stone and in that case I believe he was right.

Yea i do forgive, i forgive on a daily basis; but not so, i can continually have the wrong thing done to me. Example actions committed against my will. @Zoe7
I'm constantly protesting... -against everything i feel is wrong; that has happened to me.. in particular the mental health team, and what they are doing, are at the centre of this cycle...

At what point do they feel bad about what they are doing and realise it's wrong and stop???

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Yea right @Bunniekins my past issues always used to haunt me... real bad ways... huge feelings of guilt OR blame and wanting answers, closure, resolution and to move on with my life... major slide shows (symptoms) in my mind about past experiences and memories, would haunt me... it was basically like feeling guilty and fearing punishment for all the mistakes I had made. Orvfeeling innocent and needing justice for everything people had done to me. -now days, I'm that caught up in the suffering caused from the medicine and treatment I've received from the mhs. it overrides all of that stuff; although it's still there, it's not as intense anymore...-i think because my life is now revolved are the side effects of medicine...

i now know the feelings guilt or innocence was normal... -i was trying to process everything and deal with it, so i could move on... -i now realise the best way to deal with all this mental stuff i was going through... *would of been to openly talk about it, with the appropriate people... -literally just openly talk about all these past experiences and memories, that made me feel guilty and in the wrong, or like i was innocent and had been wronged; and do the repent and resent thing... however i think my religious upbringing, influenced me to believe if i prayed to God and Jesus enough, they'd come and rescue me, and all would be resolved, and my life would come good... but essentially all I've ever had in the form of help and support-has been other people... although i done all the repenting and resenting i could possibly do...- in preyer to God and Jesus... it was other human beings whom i feared judgment from, or needed help, validation, protection, acceptance, connection and safety from...

Hello @Bunniekins @eudemonism @Former-Member @Bill16 @Zoe7

@Bunniekins made me laugh about the ginger tom...playing the game of in the door out of the door...

I have cats who do just that.....

I do not like leaving the screen door open...

I am actually a dog person however now that I have had a couple of cats their strong personalities fascinate me...

I know that both Eude and Zoe each have a dog and a cat..

How about you @Bunniekins @Bill16 @Former-Member do you have any pets?

Here's a conclusion I've come to...

'Jesus stuffed everything up, for the righteous man '

an interesting thought that you have there...depending on whom you are talking to..

I think also that man does a very good job of stuffing everything up without needing an example...

for a human race that believes itself to be so superior...we are going backwards in many ways...

we are fixated on modern technology..yes we need progress..improvements...

not at the expense of human lives...

How many films have been made about this stuff...

good debate subject Eude

today a couple of more loads of washing to be done...

watering pots...

get off of this computer laugh

hope that you all achieve something on your list to do today...even if it is doing nothing...if it is on your list you have achieved something
