Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

@Bunniekins yea my cat is funny like that... 95% of the time, she does her own thing... sitting and laying out the front under the trees... or somewhere sitting quietly and resting... or wanting to let in or out with a great deal of urgency like she has somewhere to be...

@eudemonism Haha! cats are so funny. Our ginger tom came home once with a barbequed sausage from next door's bbq they were having. He either stole it or they gave it to him 🙂 in any event he looked so proud of himself with this sausage in his mouth :D.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Former-MemberI've quite often got the attitude of feeling/thinking I'm hard done by, treated wrongly, which fills me with resentment and makes me blame and-think i deserve better.
Then I'm desperately trying to make things right from my side of the story, with everything that's in my capabilities... -but continually it feels like I'm loosing the battle... and my only option is forgiveness...
I figure they've hurt me. And i figure they can heal me. And when they don't. I just wanna hurt them in return. And then they turn around and say-you're sick in the head. -you're mentally ill. And then treat me with medicine... i swear they get a kick out of it...

My way of looking at it... 'they're also sick and unwell ' 'it's the less of two evils ' 'they are simply trying to help themselves ' 'they are only worried about themselves ' 'they also feel hard done by and are full of resentment ' 'their answer is to focus on others '

It's a case of imaginary problems and imaginary answers... the answer for them... is to create imaginary problems and imaginary answers for other people... And to enforce this scenario at any cost...

@Zoe7 my cat would never do anything like that. She's a good cat. She just jumped onto the kitchen window before, and starts looking at me and the dog inside, then comes around to the open sliding door and goes to her food bowl, and grabs a bit of chicken i gave her from last night, and then strolls out again...

You’re angry and I don’t blame you. It triggers us because of past events of feeling powerless, I think. I hate how people use MI labels to shut us down. It’s suppose to frame ways to help us. Although I have a cuz high up in MHand it’s more about ‘protecting the public’ or something like that. I don’t have the answers, currently caught up in my own circle of family & legal betrayal. What’s new hey? All we can do is focus on things we can control, and that’s not others. If nothing else - at least being here reminds us we are not alone in this - there are many all over the world.

Here's a conclusion I've come to...

'Jesus stuffed everything up, for the righteous man '

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@eudemonism for me mankind stuffed it up for the righteous man. However I believe things will get better and that there is goodness in most with the blackest hearts. So I am the eternal optimest Eude.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Should the message of forgiveness really need to be preached @Bunniekins ???
-if we all knew how to be decent human beings??? I'm afraid to think that people's ability to forgive, is gravely being taken advantage of??? And I'm afraid to think, it's fuelling those doing the wrong... -in a very unjust way...Because in all honesty, I'm quite frankly tired of forgiving, people who doing the wrong thing, but then thinking they are not... (based on my conscience of my own thoughts, words and behaviours; and also my conscience *prejudices for other people's thoughts, words and behaviours)

You can be worried about controlling yourself, you can be worried about controlling others, you can be worried about those controlling you, you can be worried about those you are controlling, you can be worried about being controlling, or you can be worried about doing the controlling, you can have ample control, or you can have lack of control...
