Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Thanks @Sophia1 that is very kind, i appreciate you as a friend, more than you'll probably ever know. I think alot of my frustrations and discontent comes from not being able to do what i need and want to. And having to resort with dealing with depot side effects, which manifests into lots of different behaviours.

hello @eudemonism

I am not sure if I responded to this post from you or not...so am doing now..

Thank you...you are much appreciated as a friend also Eude....

Yes I agree about your frustrations....chasing your tail forever....side effects of depot injection are extremely different on their own..

hoping that you can achieve enjoying moments when not having side effects....setting up a barrier almost in preparation for the stormy times...

does that make sense..

I am about to do something similar...hence I am writing to you..

I too am worn out...drained...have had two days of struggles with government departments...

I can see that you have many conversations happening on here...

So please know that I am not abandoning or forgetting you...I am looking after myself again for a brief period...might even be just for today...not sure...

"family member" situation has worsened and is taking it's toll...

I know that you more than anyone on here will understand those implications...so thank you for supporting me in this area..you have been wonderful...

speak again when I am feeling better...

in the meantime "be nice to Eude"

big hug

Toby is a white Maltese Shih Tzu @eudemonism He has a long coat which takes a lot of maintenance but he is so cute it is worth it

My parents have 2 border collies and a kelpie - they are beautiful dogs. The kelpie was a rescue dog and he is so gorgeous - very different to when they first got him. Apparently he was tied up in a backyard all the timeand when my parents got him he had to be trained a lot - especially not to jump on everyone and everything. You wouldn't know it now though - he has acres to run around on and is a lovely dog.

I am going to get some more plants from Bunnings but I haven't decided what yet. It depends what they have and there are a couple I need to replace in the garden - apparently when you don't water them the die lol I am going to get a small lavendar bush - that is one I know I need - I cut one back too far and it hasn't grown back so I will replace it.

Yea lavender is one thing i need to get established in the ground... @Zoe7 i have a small lavender in a pot out the front- so i may plant it in the ground out back tomorrow... what does Tzu stand for??? Yea my dog is awesome i just stress about his behaviour around other people (especially the elderly and the young) around other animals (from chickens to horses, to other dog's and cats) and when I'm out and about walking him or taking him to beech. (He's only 2 y/o at present) because I am essentially responsible for his behaviour. I actually hesitate to take him out and about because of it. Do you have any fruit trees or edibles??? Do you see parents regularly???

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Shih Tzu is the name of the breed @eudemonism - he is a Maltese cross Shih Tzu. I don't take him out walking much but he loves to run on the beach and in Summer or the warmer weather I take him there quite regularly.

Your dog is still young but I understand you having reservations about taking him out if his behaviour is not great around other people/animals. Does he come when you call him? Toby only comes when he wants to lol but he also doesn't go far from me and knows when it is time to get in the car - he stands and waits for me to pick him up ...my car is quite high and he doesn't jump very far (little legs lol).

I have a great lemone tree - it fruits all year around so I always have lemons. I give a lot away as I can't eat them all. I am also growing herbs in pots. I plated seedlings as well as seeds and the seeds are just starting to grow. They should take off now that we are getting better weather.

I don't see my parents much. My mother works at the same school I work at (when I eventually go back) but she is in the office and I don't interact with her much when I am there. My Dad trains horses and I am not at all into horses so I don't have much to do with him on that front either. I usually see my sister once a week - she often brings her dog with her and he plays in the backyard. He doesn't play with Toby though - he would rather play with a ball than another dog! Toby does get lots of cuddles from my sister - he adores her He loves everyone really - he is always looking for attention lol

I understand regards Tzu @Zoe7 yea it's the same with my dog. He doesn't come when i call him half of the time. But because he's bigger and more boisterous. I need to take extra care. Are you a teacher?
