Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Sophia1 i am helping a friend at around noon. There may be a few cold drinks on offer. So i need to be wary of that As drinking can get out of hand. Through my own fault. Plus I've pencilled it into my schedule to clean shower screen and tiles, give the windows a tizzy up and sweep the garage out and the path down the side of my unit. At some point in time i also have to deal with the weed pile and the still growing weeds in the back yard and front yard. So quite a bit for myself to get on with. I bought the shower soap and scum cleaning product, the metholated spirits and squeegee to complete jobs yesterday.

Hello @eudemonism

Sorry Eude ....I had posted this not knowing it was rejected....went looking for it when saw your last response...serious research allowed me to find it in rejections...then went looking for email advising me which part rejected...just wording in my description of cats taking tablets...

Catching up with friends is good for the soul..

those who drink alcohol ...as long as they respect your wishes and attempts to stop it is not a problem..

struggling yourself not to be tempted is part of the reason why alcohol is addictive for some people sadly..

the main thing is if they cannot cope with the fact that you are giving up alcohol ...they are the ones who have the issue...they are also not sincere friends who want to support you in whatever you choose to help yourself...

this might not be the case they might let you fit in without a fuss...I hope so for all of you..

perhaps you have this in the bag...you can go along ...take something that is non alcoholic that you like to drink...socialise enjoy ....let them know at the beginning that you have stuff that must get done so will not be able to stay for a long time...

I hope that your friends support your brave endeavours on your new journey for a better quality of life...

enjoy the sun ...not out here...

speak soon

Sophia

ps I dont give my cats pills....two of them are impossible...can't mash them up. extremely difficult to keep their mouths open...they will not allow a tablet fullstop....they wait looking at me with an evil eye then spit the tablet out...my soul cat was the worst...even the vet commented one day no you are right nothing is going to make him swallow a tablet..

so I use a gel that covers fleas and worms...apply monthly...

@Former-Memberyea I'm hearing you. How has your day panned out so far?

You are also an amazing, thougthful, caring, kind, gentle and supportive person @Former-Member you're also an amazing friend...

Once again I've learned about how destructive alcohol is. I dont know why i haven't learned and kept my distance from the stuff. @Sophia1 what you think?

I'm thinking that the more independent i am from other people. (The regulars in my life ) the better off i will be. Eude

Thank you @Former-Member for the way that you described me...

I am always touched when a person takes the effort to say something nice...

due to my current state of mind...tears always flow...

this is good though..releasing emotion...

Dear @eudemonism I am happy to walk with you in your journey of reclaiming a bigger more authentic life for yourself than the depot injection. You seem to be making so many great decisions. It all takes time. I found giving up smoking the hardest thing of all as it is so addictive and such a social act.

My weeds are still an issue too, but I have gotten on top of lots in the last week.

Take Care mate.
