Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

@eudemonismwhether you're still here or not ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ How we feel about how others may or may not feel about us are often our most painful thoughts. And feeling that victimisation you spoke of. I like to refuse to think about what others think of me, when I can. It helps to give yourself shelter first, and work the world out later. I hope things are looking up for you, wherever you are.

Hello @Daughterdid

I like the way you have responded to @eudemonism here...

My responses though heartfelt are always too lengthy and possibly too emotional for some people...

I write as the words flow through my mind....the feelings do come from the heart...

We have been writing to each other for some time now haven't we @eudemonism...although I have stepped back for a few weeks for some much needed self care...

I hope that you continue to write on this thread @Daughterdid..your words make much sense to me

you also have connected with @eudemonism which is wonderful...

You do have such great strength Eude...others are recognising this also....

Take care both of you...hope to see more from you...

@Sophia1, I too am lengthy and emotional, perhaps you're empathic as I am. 🙂 And I too write every word from the heart. ❤️ I love how many people are so honest here. We each live in such a unique experience, it feeds my integration somehow to be allowed a glimpse into another's thoughts and feelings. Thanks @eudemonism again for being so brave.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@Daughterdid hi nice to meet you. Please contribute whatever you want to this thread. And read this post.

@Sophia1 the oral meds were making me very tired and sleepy. It wasn't working that well. They were only meant to be take as I need. Not a daily and regular thing. So I've stopped by I threw them out. I researched the withdrawals symptoms. And it's gone well. Shall we say... Back to my normal self... I've also researched the withdrawal of my depot injection... If ever I choose to stop taking the potent drug. My opinion, my assessment, my prognosis, my diagnosis about my state of mind and wellbeing. Is more valuable then any financially motivated persons input... After all its my mind. It's my life. And these are my shoes to walk in.

I logged on because my afternoon as it has many times before. Got to a point where I felt I needed to do something. I felt I needed something. I felt I needed to do something for myself. And as usual... The answers I gave myself... Take effort, time, and resources... And I do a quick assessment of what I'm thinking about doing and often there are some negative factors which arise... In my mind... How I'm physically feeling, the potential pros and cons of what I'm thinking about doing... And a quick assessment of what it will require of myself... Then I think... Ah stuff it!.. I'll just do nothing... But that don't work real well... Then I think... Well I'll talk with someone about the problems I'm faced with... Which are involved with this dilemma I'm in the middle of... But that don't work real well either...

I've got complicated psychological issues... And it really frustrates me when I'm suffering as a result of these issues...

hello again @Daughterdid and hoping that you will join our conversation @eudemonism if you would like to...

Yes I was born with empathy....felt it so strongly from such a young age...

Eude I misunderstood the dosage amounts..frequency of your oral medication..so apologies for that...

still emphasise if you come off depot injection do so under guidance of Doctor..regardless of how much they earn...this is serious about your health....if stopped abruptly can affect your major organs...you can research on Google...

good to hear that you are making choices about your days...

sometimes we do not realise the benefits of venting..releasing emotions on here..we cannot compare with..if we have not vented...

trust me far better than pushing feelings inside...I have suffered from this very act over many years..

on a lighter note...

Thank you both for chatting

take care as always 💜🙃

@Sophia1

Yea... I'm always feeling very discontented and like there is an uneasy restless feeling inside of me which never subsides... It's very annoying...

I've lost my motivation... I'm doing less and less stuff I enjoy... And I'm just doing the basic stuff I need to do...

@Daughterdid read through that and tell me what you think if you want

@eudemonism

Thank you for your reply..

You are doing the right thing...making the choice to release some of that stuff that you struggle with on a daily basis by venting on here..

keep it up...gradually you will start to notice small moments of relief..

you are making this come about for yourself...

you have strength Eude💚

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Thanks for the welcome @eude. Thanks for the update, I love reading your posts. As complicated as your psychological stuff is for you, you have an amazing ability of eloquence in not only seeing them for what they are but working them out piece by piece and putting them together for us on a page. Thank you for sharing, always!

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@eudemonism I know the feeling there. Can't force myself to do anything and can't even do nothing without being guilty about it. Hehe!

Wish I could stay and read more...they've asked me very kindly to please discontinue my presence here considering that I am American. This is Aussies only! I've learned a lot from you in my short time. The very best. You have all the tools you need to make progress, dear, and are making progress even when it doesn't seem like you are. It's evident in your processes. ❤️ You're in good hands here.
