Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Pharmaceutical drugs are not the answer for normal people problems. It takes the focus off of the real problems. Which are deeply embedded into societies denial.

Yes, you are spot on! There's a lot of denial. Thinking about it doesn't help much though.

Talking helps you chrystalise your thoughts. It's a great tool to use.

I know when I overeat, it's no good for me at all. I know I need to talk to someone, makes me feel much better.

Is there anyone you trust and listens to you? I love to chat to @Sophia1. I wish I could meet her in person.

look after yourself matey, and write to me if you wish.

Yea there's people people I can talk too. But only so much can be said. Plus they have their own lives an their own worries. Or are coming from a system / professional point of view.

My illness is very complicated. And I have a great deal of trouble when it comes to trusting the professionals. As they are where the medication comes from. And they and the medication are the external source of control I'm having to deal with. On a daily basis... (always being seen as mentally ill and needing medicine) And in all honesty... The end results for myself as a patient (are not that nice to deal with)

I once asked the nurse - what are you trying to achieve? And it stumped her...

The symptoms too my illness were there for a reason... And it's always been seen as a problem with myself and my brain... Rather than a big picture problem... That lots of people were involved with. (society) and I feel I copped the brunt of having to deal with these problems...

Eude.

Take care @eudemonism

If you strongly feel that you want to stop your oral meds do it under the guidance of a qualified doctor...

nurses..caseworkers...social workers do not have the qualifications or training and should not be suggesting that you do so..

there can be serious health issues as a result of abruptly stopping medication...

Eude look after you...

You are an important person in this mad world...Speak up and let the doctor hear what is going on..

Yes! Simplicity is key. The more complicated it is the more often it should be let go of. ❤️

Quite often we have our own answers, we just need to listen to ourselves.

@eudemonism whether you're still here or not ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ How we feel about how others may or may not feel about us are often our most painful thoughts. And feeling that victimisation you spoke of. I like to refuse to think about what others think of me, when I can. It helps to give yourself shelter first, and work the world out later. I hope things are looking up for you, wherever you are.

Just realized my comments don't reply to the message I was reading but come here, to the end. Probably confusing. Either way @eudemonism you've given me lots to think about. Thank you for your sharing and honesty. I see you fighting, I feel your strength.
