Do you ever feel like your standing infront of your self watching your world crash?
Do you feel like you are losing control but know you can't stop it and just have to let it happen?
That's how I'm feeling. I feel like I have no control and I can see everything in slow motion falling apart but I can't do anything about it.
I'm trying to keep busy and going but it's just making me manic and hardcore panic attacks and as soon as I stop I start to cry and think what's the point of life.
I reached out to friends but they don't care. They all have children and jobs now and I understand they are busy but be nice if they came over and just gave me a hug and we watch trash tv and eat cake.
My husband just keeps going ok ok ok ok ok ok ok I understand. But how can he really understand. I just don't feel supported by him. I keep telling him I'm breaking I need to slow down but he's like you will be fine.
I know I'm breaking and it's going to be a mess. And I hate I can't stop it.
I tried a new drug today. I'm scared of medication as I hate being dependent on it. I tried a quarter of what the doctor wanted me to take. I felt like I had 5 shots of Tequila and a relaxent all in one. My hands started to fly in the sky and my panic levels went crazy. So I was like no just think you have had a drink and that calmed me down but I can still feel it playing in my mind.
I feel like I can't live a functional life with out medication. I try so hard and I'm sussceding in so much of it but it's burning me out and I know this fall that's about to happen is going to set me far back. Life on pills just makes me feel dumb and slow and what type of life is that.
I'm just starting to think what type of life am I going to have?
I read an article on people with deppresion and it's like of nothing makes you happy including medication and therapy you should just live for others. That upset me so much. It's like you got no hope so help others you empty person.
This week to 5 of my friends have moved to Europe and 3 announced their pregnancy and I'm just like look at everyone moving forawd and I'm stuck and frozen. I'm trapped.
@Former-Member. Yes you are his client if you and your gp wish. I think it was his gentle way of acknowledging the relationship you have built with your gp. But that, if you like him and his style of working with clients - then he would like to have you. Sounds really positive. You and hubby liked him. And this psychiatrist likes you and your gp. Win/Win.

Yeah and he bulked billed me to as I wasn't really his patient today so I thought that was nice. Kind of old school.

Just a bit nervous though as I'm still just depending on myself to keep my head above water. Like I'm still sinking and I can't hold onto anything and I'm rapid cycling freaky fast.

@Former-Member. Wow he bulk billed. That's brilliant. As MI can be financially hard. So if you and your gp - or just you - think you would like to work with this psychiatrist - I say go for it. He sounds like a gentle therapist. So - tonight - can you focus on how good the meeting with the psychiatrist went. How you and hubby both felt comfortable with him. Try and not just remember what was said - but more importantly, how you felt. How comfortable it was talking with him. Then keep focusing on these feelings, as you get ready for bed.

Oh man it was such a blessing to get bulked billed as my bank account did not want to get attacked today. It's so expensive.
I found him really gentle and even though I'm a go go go go go person this might be better for me.
I'm just going to try fully switch my brain off. Took my sleeping pills got a good DVD on so hopefully I have some nice dreams.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
Do you ever have those days when everything annoys you. Like this guy beside me is musshing his food and I'm literally about to take it of him and throw it in the bin.
I'm working with this employee today who I literally have to hold her and through everything and she's not listening to me and I'm telling her not to do simple tasks and she just looks at me like like I told her Santa is not real and continues to do things I tell her not to do. I'm going insane today.
Like I'm so annoyed at everything.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
@Former-Member. I hate having to deal with stupid employees that simply don't have the brain power or insight to do the job they are meant to. Once had a 'coworker' who couldn't even photocopy pages straight. Let alone do anything beyond that. And she got paid more than me - because she was casual. And there I am doing all the detailed admin work. Aaarrrggghhh!!!! So I really understand how frustrating your day has been. I hope tonight you can relax, talk to intelligent people and enjoy your night.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
I'm going on holidays in two weeks and I just want to cancel it. I'm so scared to go on a holiday. I'm so scared to slow down incase it makes me sad. I'm scared I'm going to die on my holiday. I just got these scenarios going off in my head and they are getting worse and I can't stop thinking about them. But hey at least if I get caught in a snow storm I'm going to be prepared

Hi @Former-Member a holiday i think can be exciting/scary at the same time. I used to love travelling and still would i guess but it was also anxiety provoking... particularly flying/airports! gah! Is there any part of the holiday that you are looking forward to?

Re: When everything starts crashing.
@Former-Member. What's the main thing you are looking forward to on this holiday? Are there other things you are excited about? What things are you going to do on this holiday - things you've done in the past & are good at - or new things to try?
