Do you ever feel like your standing infront of your self watching your world crash?
Do you feel like you are losing control but know you can't stop it and just have to let it happen?
That's how I'm feeling. I feel like I have no control and I can see everything in slow motion falling apart but I can't do anything about it.
I'm trying to keep busy and going but it's just making me manic and hardcore panic attacks and as soon as I stop I start to cry and think what's the point of life.
I reached out to friends but they don't care. They all have children and jobs now and I understand they are busy but be nice if they came over and just gave me a hug and we watch trash tv and eat cake.
My husband just keeps going ok ok ok ok ok ok ok I understand. But how can he really understand. I just don't feel supported by him. I keep telling him I'm breaking I need to slow down but he's like you will be fine.
I know I'm breaking and it's going to be a mess. And I hate I can't stop it.
I tried a new drug today. I'm scared of medication as I hate being dependent on it. I tried a quarter of what the doctor wanted me to take. I felt like I had 5 shots of Tequila and a relaxent all in one. My hands started to fly in the sky and my panic levels went crazy. So I was like no just think you have had a drink and that calmed me down but I can still feel it playing in my mind.
I feel like I can't live a functional life with out medication. I try so hard and I'm sussceding in so much of it but it's burning me out and I know this fall that's about to happen is going to set me far back. Life on pills just makes me feel dumb and slow and what type of life is that.
I'm just starting to think what type of life am I going to have?
I read an article on people with deppresion and it's like of nothing makes you happy including medication and therapy you should just live for others. That upset me so much. It's like you got no hope so help others you empty person.
This week to 5 of my friends have moved to Europe and 3 announced their pregnancy and I'm just like look at everyone moving forawd and I'm stuck and frozen. I'm trapped.
My husband is home. I'm really finding it difficult to communicate to him my emotions at the moment as they feel heavy.

It's an experience that he shared @Former-Member, Perhaps just telling him that it's on your mind and that you need a hug could do for now. It might be enough to break the pattern of self-harm.

I wish I could talk to him but it hurts. Maybe in a day or two when my emotions settle down a bit. But he made me dinner which was nice.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
Everything inside me is screaming run. Run Run Run Run Run. I look to my heart and its empty. But got zero clue how I'm doing it but I'm on my way to work. Hopefully it will be a good distraction but I got a gut feeling I'll be in the bathroom most of the day.

How did you go today @Former-Member ? I find work is really good for me cos it is the only place I can get away from my thoughts.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
Hi @Former-Member thank you for asking. The first few hours was really hard and I felt just really on edge and that I could cry in a split second over anything but I kept pushing and work distracted me and my thinking which was really good. I like work for that reason to as it makes you turn of part of your brain and focus on something else. But today I was really scared I wouldn't be able to focus on something else.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
@SwearyCyn thank you for your reply. How great would it be if it was instant improvement. I wish so wish that was the case. That's good your seeing someone new and feeling good about it. I hope I connect with the new person tomorrow. Very nervous. But yeah it will be good to talk to someone out side of my group. Be good just to lay it on the table with out feeling judged or them trying to fix it or what ever. I just hate the fact that my doctors only know my illness from books and patients. That's why I like this forum because I know I can say something and feel safe and 100% understood.

@Former-Member. How did your appointment go today with the new psychiatrist? Do you think you could work with them? I hope so. I haven't spoken to you for about 2 months - I went to hospital for a while. So I've only just found this thread. I hope that today has offered you a bit of hope.

Re: When everything starts crashing.
Hi @utopia thank you for checking in. I hope your feeling a lot better.
Today was confusing 😞 I don't know what really happened. I went in and I liked the room and atmosphere. The guy was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He went through my chart and saw what other doctor I saw and spoke so highly of him so I thought that was really good. But then he stated he's not taking me on as a patient as he's going on holidays. I'm like um ok.
We get into talking and I really liked him, seemed human and caring and I felt heard and not talked to but like just having a healthy conversation. My husband came in half way and they chatted and my husband really liked him as well. He's protective of who I see.
We ended the meeting with him saying he's going to send of a letter to my doctor on what he thinks I should do in terms of medication. He said with his patients he likes to take it really slow and they just have to be patient getting the desired result which in a way is me because I over think everything. Then said it was nice meeting me gave me his card and that he would like to work with me when he gets back if that's what my gp thinks I should do.
So I'm confused. Am I a patient? Hopefully my gp can explain this to me.
