Hi @Former-Member ![]()
the appointment went ok. i was suppose to ahve apsychiatrist appointment yesterday but i cancelled and so she rang my gp today and if i didnt turn up then there is something going on and ive gone a bit rougue. well i turned up today so i guess they can rest their minds now.
this is where my two options come into it and i dont know what to do. i feel so pressured to do the second option but i really dont want to and i dont see why it has to be done.
Option 1- jsut tell them about my new medications that they still dont know about and jsut take it as it comes if they dont like it put into play the reasons which are the uncontrollable shaking, neausea, tremors, head spins, blurred vision, lack of concentration, insomnia, and all the rest
OR
Option 2- go to the psychologist that i dont like and take mums bf with me and get them to explain the medications situation. apparently my psychiatrist, and gp and the psych i dont like and find arrogant want me to do it. in the letter however its pecifically states they dont discuss medication or hospitalisation. so i dont see a point in it. ive explained so many times to them that i dont see the point, its going to put me in a very uncomfortable position and why should he come when we arent realated.
they seem to think by getting mums bf to a psych session to explain medications that it will make my mother understand too. its not the freaking simple though. the dont think of what might happen outside that therapy session. he mihgt agree in there and then get home and completely change their mind.
so the gp has made me enforce a plan- first step is ring my psychiatrist and book another appointment, then the second thing is make a call to the psychologist that i dont like and arrange an appointment for me and mum bf to speak to him.
i ahvent done either of them. i dont know if i want to. im sick of arguing and trying to make things work all the time and then it backfires on me.
and no im not really ok Bella. i dont know what im doing and my emotions and hormones i jsut dont understand

Why outlander do you have to feel like you have to justify your medication to your family?.I might be missing something but if your mother's not showing or making a effort eg:going to appointments with you or showing some kind of support it seems crazy that you have to get the "OK"to be on medication agreed upon by your doctor or whoever.I understand it's a good idea to let them know what you are taking in case of an emergency but it's sad that the trust and support isn't there. But maybe we should just shrug our shoulders and say "whatever works!".
