My huuby's mum is so controlling he had to move countries years ago.
I didn't believe how bad she was until I met her. OH MY GOSH! I understand.

Worry about the therapy when the time comes @outlander - I have had a lot of therapy and it has been helpful -
About your freedom - you are being held against your will - okay - I was too and the only way out was to marry and I did so - badly
You don't need to do that though - I think you are working your way today leaving home yourself - and this is what has to happen
We can talk more about this later
