You are not in a healthy environment and a lot comes down to what you believe about what people tell you

Since I was having psychotherapy a lot of things have changed and it seems to me that everyone has a label and I am not sure that this is wrong - it just is

However - whatever is wrong with you now I believe it is from sources outside you as it was for me -

And mental "disorders" are very hard to diagnose - I have contradicted the therapists I have had since my mother died (both moved interstate) - it takes courage to do that

I could be wrong but I really do believe that the way you are treated and have been treated for a long time - the things you have seen happen have caused this and if you do have BDP it is because of the way you have been treated -

Your caring about other people comes across so powerfully - this has to be a good trait but life has been very hard for you all your life - this has to be really hard for you to really understand what "normal" could and should be

But yes - time will help - my idea is for you to have a better image of yourself

I am sure it will be a lot of hard work - and it will take time - but there is a better world out there for you and I will be so glad that I know you will find it

Here's what I hope for the future - you will go on with a better life and will not need a forum like this - I will never know but I will hold that in my heart that you find that better life that you deserve
