This iss an emergency @outlander
If your therapist can't get you somewhere tonight then try the Salvation Army - they have shelters - and tomorrow Centrelink and tell them this is an emergency - and I am sure your therapist and your doctor will back you on this
You are being abused emotionally and psychologically and not taken seriously - and I won't say anything more about your mother except this is the time when you really need her to take you seriously - if you can have a talk with your Pop - say you are still wanting to be his carer but you need some time out - maybe he can help you financially - who knows?
I'm around your pop's age - I would understand if you were my grand-daughter - give him a chance
One night I had to have emergency accommodation and the Salvation Army helped me for the night - not much fun but better than how things were at home - and it will be safe -
Tomorrow is the day to sort this out - and walking away or driving away in your car isn't running away - it's finding a safe place for this evening while it is still daylight - and you are making a point - you have had enough -
It's fantastic - amazing - you have lasted this long - and I am thinking of you constantly - I want you to be safe but are you safe where you are? That is an important question
I hear you saying you can't do this anymore and you can't confront anyone anymore -
I hope that you are on the phone right now and that your therapist can help - but I will sit here with my computer until you can get back - you have a great bunch of people here caring about you -
Take you time - no need to reply until you are ready

Hi again @Former-Member
That's a good idea about house-sharing with students or other young people
Emergency housing and emergency accommodation are not the same - there is emergency accommodation available for urgent cases - I had such a reason and the salvos were great giving me and my daughter help that night - but it wasn't the long term answer at all
But this is the time when @outlander needs to be safe tonight - and Outlander - I just hope your psyche can help - it is an emergency - remember that - we have been with your for months now and know how this has been getting serious over time and for the last couple of weeks really bad - so -
Okay - it's up to you - but there will always be something to stop you from leaving - that's the way life is - and tonight - maybe you just need to make a point - and if this is enough - that's good
But between us we can find something - only you have to do the hard yards unless your therapist can help
All the best - still here and answer when you can and of course there is always short-stay hospital - I know you don't want that but it will give you some space
