Totally understand @outlander that going to see the psychologist it "me time". I feel exaclty the same way.
You are loveable @outlander even if you do not believe it yourself. I know you have not got alot of support in your life, but I don't think for one minute your Pop thinks that and no one on her thinks that either.

Hi @outlander
Taking care of your sisters again - oh no - I read something really important about your sisters a couple of days back and that was that you wanted to be their sister not their mother - and do special things with them - but being their carer took any fun out of what you do with them and they seem to be ungrateful
Your middle sister can do some of the work with your little sister - she is old enough - and another thing is I hope these girls can learn some respect - and alas you have to do this -
One thing I really have to comment on and that is the way your sisters behave when you are driving - if my kids started playing up I would pull over to the side of the road and just sit there until they stopped whatever they were doing and their seat belts kept them far enough away from each other so they couldn't do any damage. If I was out in the country and would run around the car or up the road and back a short distance - blowing off any cobwebs myself but always near the car - and the kids found this boring and knew that's what I would do -
So they weren't neglected - they just had to sit and watch so they learned not to be silly before they figured out their child-seat belts - so glad I had those
I really hope you don't have to miss your appointment with your psychologist tomorrow but then I am thinking less about your sisters and more about your driving with that long bunch of stitches - it's hard that one
One idea I have had about the girls is that you try and talk to the older one and tell her you want to be her sister and not her mother-replacement-person and I just thought - big aha-click moment - maybe she wants to see more of your mother too - and of course the little one as well
How far is it to see your psychologist?
But also - more to the point - I know you are feeling pretty sick right now - today will not be boring. Watch a movie you like and give the little girl a snack and a bit of a cuddle and a bunch of textas and flake in front of the movie - or more than one movie
Give yourself time - I feel like I am giving advice and I hate getting it myself but I think these are just suggestions - which means you can do these or not - which I think I have said before - I will love you whether you do these things or not
But stay in with the forum family as much as you are able and stick with the strength
I gotta hunt some more owls for today\

Thanks @Former-Member
I have a few extra years on a lot of people here - most people I think - and I like to think what I say is suggestions because I will not get upset if people don't do what I suggest - rather giving them an idea or three
But thanks for your kind words here - this is an important place for me to be as well - I have been through depression and anxiety in the past - and I have a dx of being "emotionally fragile" and it fits
@outlander
You are not unloveable - Nell just told you that - and you need your time to recover from a big operation - my daughter had one around that size under a general anasethetic - that was for melanoma - and you were awake the whole time even if the prn they gave you kept you floating around the theatre - I know that one btw - wow - floating plus - I stopped being scared when they gave me that one
Mostly what I am trying to do here is keep telling you that you are a fine, gentle, loving, caring person who puts others first constantly and then get's told all the crap other people invent
Nell's idea of taking the kids with you when you see the psychologist is a good one - they may not like it but I have this idea now the kids would like their mother to do some caring of them as well - I am going to plug this one
I am sad to think that all the fun things you would like to do with your sisters is just work and they are obviously unhappy - um - I will leave that idea with you to think about
Take it easy today at least - I hope you haven't got to run back and forth to the bathroom today - at least I hope this is the case

Morning @Sans911
I am glad you slept well. I think we have all done things we have not been proud of but I do understand that sleep is such a big part of helping us function better.
I hope today is a good day for you ![]()
