Thank you @Sans911@Owlunar for answering this for me. As you know I have no in offline to ask any of these things about. And im rather embarrassed even though you say no to be.
I know that every relationship is different and each person has their own expectations of what each relationship is like and what they want out of it. I dont really know what I want out of a relationship, I guess that comes with experience?
Im sure sex is unique in its own right and I guess everyone has expectations to what that should be like too. Its hard to get my point across in this area because its confusing for me. While it was forced and NEVER would I want that to happen again or it to happen to anyone else. I can say it wasnt...well bad... just unwanted. Is this making any sense at all.
At least ive got the timing right, im not that annoyed that im single but it would be nice to experience things that are on a normal scale of things and consentual-thats the main part.
It would be nice to have someone that loves me for me and not for what I have to offer- god that sounds wrong.
And yes sexuality for me is another confusing thing that still being worked out. I have taken that pressure off myself however as I couldnt understand the different labels that people put on themselves. I thought I was bisexual but how would I know unless I eprerience different things with a woman. I mean ive had an experience with a man. So ive just taken the added pressure off and if I end up with a woman then so be it if I end up with a male then thats fine too. What ever happens.
I dont even know how to meet people. I have no environments that exposes me to really oher people my own age. I work isolated at home with family and then my second job well its pretty isolating as well because I dont spend the whole day there and I just fit it in when I can and often msot people are at work when im there as well.
I dont have the confidence to go to bars and social type things like that and im really weary about online dating, I think my mother would k**l me if she found out I was on a dating site- im not btw but if I was. I cringe though at the thought of even being in a committee relationship thatll eventually lead to sex. I just I dont know im not really comfortable but its like my mind and body are ready for that kind of commitment also.
thank you again, im hoping this is making you too uncomfortable to talk about

Hello Claire
@outlander 🙂
Your embarrassment is sweet 😉 Of course your curious about what a loving relationship would be like, that you haven't experienced one by this stage of your life is very sad. I have known love, but my experiences have not been positive ones, as none have ever lasted. I think, and I'm only guessing - to find your true love, you must first find your best friend.

@outlander it is nothing to be embarrassed about. Everyone has questions regarding sex and relationships, but few are brave enough to ask the questions so well done.
You have to go what you feel is right for you in your situation. I am not sure how much you know about my story of CSA but unfortunately the right for me to decide when I was ready was taken away from me at a young age. Now reflecting back, it explains my teenage years. That's all I will say on that matter. But even after that I was still able to form a romantic and loving relationship with my husband.
You say you want someone to love you for you and not what you have got to offer. That does not sound wrong at all. That is all anybody ever wants whether that for you be with a male or female it doesn't matter.
I can't help you with meeting people, I have been out of the dating scene for too long!!
But please don't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable to ask these questions, they are normal feelings and thoughts to ask. And since you don't have anyone in person to ask, then ask away.
My miss 12 just got her first period last week, so have had soooo many questions from her too!!! Completely normal😀😀😀

Hi @outlander
I am not at all embarrassed - I am someone's mother after all and went through the same conversations with a girl - and a boy -
I never bucked away from a question - I was "instructed" with my mother reading bits out of a book - I learned all I knew from the public library - and things are not mechanical - they are emotional, physical, psychological and mental - and how do we find that person
I met my ex-h at night-school - it took time to get to know more than what I read in library books - and I was married before we went the whole way - there is a whole process to go through getting used to each other and enjoying it - no way should the process happen all at one - it is wonderful to think of the stages - the kissing, the necking - petting and then the full deal
And there may be things you are not prepare to go through with and this is when a woman needs to say "No" and anything further is rape - a woman needs to be firm and a man needs to hear her
You have had it rough and I do understand an event like that is so confusing - it really is - no wonder this is haunting you and making it hard for you to get though everything in front of you -
So you need to find someone to share your emotional and sexual life with -
When I met my ex-bf I was divorced after a sad marriage and I was at a friend's birthday party in a bistro and I found I had an interesting guy following me around the buffet - we were both experienced and so it was not an overnight thing but it was much quicker and really fantastic
So yes - where do you meet someone - I would love to know an answer because I am alone and would like a bit of male company now and again - but not pubs and clubs - and not inter-net dating - so yes - I do hear you and know this is really hard for you in this position
My suggestion is that for now this is something to think about and your feelings - all of this is natural and good - but right now looking is not probably a good idea with things so tough for you right now - when you are not loaded with the kids when they are not at school you can start looking for work and also start a social life - this is when you can look around and see what's available
I am so glad you asked - you can ask me anything - I am not at all embarrassed and there is nothing to be embarrassed
