Re: when is it time for hospital
Ive called the other family memeber and she can watch them for a few hrs for me tomorrow. So i can get some rest. Kids arent happy but i dont care. If they want me alive then i need respite. Its not my expectations on me well they are but i guess they are viewed as a result of others. Im so scared what if i never get better. What if friday goes badly. I just want to be ok and right now im.not ok at all 😞

Re: when is it time for hospital
@outlander A few hours tomorrow is a good start.
I have the same thought, what if I don't get better, and I haven't got the answer for you. It's something I ask myself and have asked my psychologist. But I have to trust that all the things I am doing, see a psychologist, booked in with a psychiatrist, seeing a mental health team are going to help me get better. Yes it's crap at times, yes I have bad days but I have to believe that this is not the life i want and there is something better out there for me. And I know you feel the same, because you see in yourself that you need a break and need time away. That shows that you want to get better. That is all we can hope for. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Re: when is it time for hospital
@outlander@Former-Member I would have said essentially the same thing as Nell. I've been told that despite everything, my SA/SI, I am still looking for a chance to live. Change is really hard. Who will I become if I change? It's necessary for a better life, but it's not easy. Sometimes I want to sit in a corner and cry my eyes out. I do, and then I dry my tears & say right, now what do I do? Because I want to stop the past from hurting me. And I want a future to look forward to instead of being afraid of it. And people who know & sue believe in me, and will help me get there. The same goes for you & @Former-Member. We have to hold onto that.

Re: when is it time for hospital
It just doesnt seem to be enough anymore. I see the right people do what they tell me to do but i just dont seem to be getting anywhere. I always end up in this same state. It takes so long to get out of it and hospital is usually the only thing that helps but its only temporary. I need a long term thing too. @Former-Member@Sans911

Re: when is it time for hospital
@outlander - there is no long term solution hun. It's a step by step process, until we resolve issues that are holding us back. We just have to keep chipping away at it all the time, until the last brick has fallen. It's been 2years since my breakdown; initially things were ok, but as I uncovered the trauma and opened old wounds it's been a massive down hill slide for me. I have been suicidal for over 9months, been in hospital so, so many times, had suicidal prevention counselling and yet I'm really no closer to resolving the deepest issues because they are so painful. Because you cant just pour everything out, slap a bandaid on it & expect it to heal in a week. Sorry, I'm not trying to trivialise your stuff, or mine. And your stuff is complicated by the environment you are, where you are not respected, you are not supported nor given the love you need and deserve. It's a hard road, hun, and sometimes takes years. But you have to trust the people who support and guide you, and trust the journey at some point has an ending.

Re: when is it time for hospital
I wish it was that easy. Its been almost 6 months since i was first admitted to hospital. And nothing has changed. It just keeps getting worse.car accidents. Cancer. Getting a broke horse. Freak horse accident with another hospital addmission. It never stops. I dont know how much more i can handle anymore. How much more pain and bad news can anyone handle

Re: when is it time for hospital
@outlander You cannot help what triggers people. Hell my last panic attack was triggered by a tv add.
People know on this forum what to stay away from and they have to make that decision themselves. There are certain things I will not read or go anywhere near because I know they will be a trigger for me. That is not up to you to decide. This is YOUR page where you get to write what you need to get out. It is the same for my page. I am sure there are people that won't read my page and that is fine. But you cannot put the blame onto your shoulders.

Re: when is it time for hospital
@outlander again hun, I agree with @Former-Member. You haven't triggered anything with me. If I can't cope with something on the forums, I will leave for a while until I feel safe enough to come back. That's happened a few times, but it had nothing to do with the forums. I wasn't coping, so I stayed away. And there are certain members and threads I don't have much to do with; either because that person is not responding to my help, or I don't feel comfortable with their stuff. People are going to read your stuff, and get triggered, and it's not your responsibility or your fault. It is the nature of what we are dealing. Don't you remember just recently how @Former-Member was triggered by something I did. I felt awful. But the best thing we did (thank @Former-Member actually, because I wanted to run away & hide) was talk it over and we moved on. We're still talking, and ok with each other, I hope lol. So maybe instead of feeling helpless, talk to that member. Give them some space, and check on them after a while. You're not responsible for other peoples mental health, but you can control how you react & make it healthy and safe for you
