That's fantastic @outlander
Now you have a worthwhile distraction - keeping thinking of your steps - what's most important
Breathe - drink some water - do some work - breathe - drink some water - do some work
You got to work - that's a major plus today

Okay @outlander .... close your eyes, take some deep breaths and reach for the door latch. Take it down to the smallest steps ....
Hand on the latch.
Open the latch.
Push the door open.
Start with that, then build the next three steps into your path.
See how that goes.

Dear @outlander
Sorry about your bad news at GP. You have been dealt a few more bummers than most people, but somehow turn it around with dignity. You are precious @outlander
I can really relate to the small steps of, getting car to place necessary, but stuck sitting in it, unable to move, and eeeeventually being able to undo seatbelt, open car door and take next steps. If it is slow, thats smart.
SO proud that you made it to work.
In spite of many obstacles you are quite amazing and INTELLIGENTLY strong. Not just resilient, mindless, we do need to reclaim our instincts. You were wise to realise the possibilities, the danger and get it checked.
Glad your GP respects you and is putting things in place to manage it.
DId you see that super smart thing @Faith-and-Hope did when talking about mood stabilisers?
Many of us have to take our meds, but she is a real gem the way she digs under the layers to basic necessary physiological necessary practices.
You have a lot of respect here @outlander We dont all have to be the same age.
As an old goose, I really like it when you share something that I experienced so often but never put in words or told anybody. Sharing does help. Now I know I am not the only one who has felt like that sitting in the car.
