I hear you and so I will start with I can hear that you can't pull yourself together - okay - people have suggested some good things and so let's just try a little one first like walking outside for a little bit and that drink of water - good one that

And why do you get all the hard stuff? Aw - I understand that - it's a good question - it happens - shit happens - a serious looking mole is shit happening and it has been for a while I think

So - it was there and you didn't know and bang!!! Now you know - so that's a good thing

My daughter had melanoma when she was 19 and she has been in remission - maybe even cured now - but she had a lot of bits and pieces off - as have I - though I think my skin lesions were not as malignant as melanoma - but I am here in my old age when all they could do was take them off and I never had them checked

So where are you now

You have a tricky lesion to be removed and you have to have that done next week - that is more than you can handle right now

And the most important thing to do is collect your scattered wits and know that is is really hard news to get - it really is - and if I had that today I would be coming unstuck so I guess that's pretty normal as horrible as it is.

And it seems you get all the bad stuff - but then - I think you are in good company

I am hoping by the time this comes through you are managing to gather your scattered wits - so breathe - if there is nothing else to do just breathe

And drink some water
