@Former-MemberThat's all you needed feelig the way you do. You shown courage standing up to her; I don't know if I would have down the same. Sometimes the way people treat you isn't about you at all. Sometimes it has to do with their own insecurities and by gossiping, they make themselves better and bigger. That doesn't make it any easier, or right. I really feel for you; you are stuck in a situation which isn't helpful for your recovery at all. As I have said before, from what I know of you you seem like a decent and kind person. Be gentle on yourself tonight, you have done no wrong.

@outlander,the weight gain is a worry but I think the mood stabilizers are known to puff you up.Its hard to weigh up(no pun intended),the benefits if it affects how you feel about yourself.
@Sans911,I know, they will only talk about my mental state, but I'm tired of people like that,it sickens me and I shouldn't at the age of 45 or any age have to explain yourself. When she said where you are living now ?I should've said "Under that pine tree over there there's a wombat hole I live there !".
I felt guilty at times for turning down that wedding invitation due to social anxiety/depression but I don't now,I can't tell you how many times I've been violated like that in my life and I had to give it back as I can't put anymore on my shoulders @Sans911.

@outlanderHey hun, I understand the weight gain is a worry for you, however, you are the only one who can decide whether that's something to tolerate for a while based on how much the medications are helping, or whether you want to explore other medication with less side effects particularly in regards to weight gain. You certainly seem to be bouncing back from stuff that you previously reacted to a lot quicker, and at times you seem more stable and rational. I have noticed you are able to reflect really one on how things are going for you. A few weeks ago, you were a very different person. You don't have to be on the medications forever. And yes, I do understand about the taunting and bullying with respect to weight. Apart from my teens, when I had an eating disorder, I have been fighting back obesity my whole life. I lost 14kgs in 2 years, and my weight has plauteud now, but I am still quite overweight. I have been the subject of many a bully and people's insensitive remarks. It's hard, I know that. But not eating just sets you up to fail, as your more likely to eat more at some point, and you need food for energy and to support your immune system.
I am glad you did something nice today. It's good to hear from you today.

honestly these medications are saving me. But I really want to loose the weight. I ahte bing overweight. I havent had an eating disorder but honestly right now im thinking the only way to ge thinner while on the medications is to increase my exercise a lot more than an hour and to also eat a lot less than what I already am which as I said 2 small meals a day.
I dont want to change medications now. Its taken me a year to get to his point in regards to medications and these with minimal side effects.
I dont know im tried, and drained and 'my soul is tired' @Sans911
