I was going to put this on the "struggling to survive"thread but I think it everyone could relate to how I'm feeling atm,and inspire yous to not tolerate others that are rude to you.Plus I'm wondering if I need a hospital lol or cry.
Cold here today,debated about going for my walk because bit down and thought about going to bed.I park at a local tourist spot,it's where I lived for 43 years and used to walk there early morning.There were 4 people there and we're around my car when I got out.One old lady was a local didn't recognize at first,worked with her years ago and went to school with her daughter.Not someone I have nothing to do with besides.First question she asked was "where are you now,you in at your Mums'?" I was getting my umbrella out of my boot and I said "I don't like answering personal questions about my life".Then she commented on how I drive out to walk when I don't live there.In addition she was looking at staring at me in a rude way.I walked off wishing the ground would open up and take me.I have been very p***** off,on my walk tried to see if she was on Facebook so I could messenger her when I was in reception area.She wasn't on it. All I saw was a rude old women with a lack of respect,and I would never ask anyone those questions or be rude.I drove home eying off gumtrees on the side because of my awful thoughts of ending it.I found her number when I got home,rang her up,told her it was a bit tough how I just got out my car door and had to put up with a sticky beak with no respect for my privacy and told her her behavior was pathetic.I hate gossips ,I lived near her brother out there and her sister in law,who is a gossip and who is known as "bucket mouth".I avoid her like anything knowing what she is.She ended the conversation with "I won't talk to you again if I see you",I said "Good, if you are like your sister in law I don't want to know you.
It wasn't just what she said,it was the full on obvious staring.Im wondering if I irrational because I am at that time of the month ,which makes me SC more with depression,but I can't stand that kind of behavior,and intrusion of privacy, comments that is none of their business.I felt better after I rang because I put her shit back on her where it belonged.I will be gossiped about more now,bit I don't care,they already do.
The only good thing was it made walk due to being so pissed off,but how can ever cope with life guys when I live in such a pathetic gossipping place ? I don't know how I can survive.

@Former-Member Personally I think what you did took guts, so congratulations for bravery, sticking up for you, and shutting a gossip up. You have every right to privacy and a walk without being interigated. WTG you. If you can't pat yourself on the back, turn round and I'll do it for you. Pat pat, there you go. ![]()

Ok @outlander
Thanks @Maggie,I have a massive headache.Why do people think it's "OK"to be rude.I doubt I've done anything but gave them something to gossip about,just that I had a breakdown from putting that kind of shit on my shoulders.I say "hello,how you going?",and that's it.I keep on neutral ground ,it's respectful . I've had that all my life whether it's telling me that "I'm fat","or" I'm living with my mother".I'm tired @Maggie.

Good evening everyone
my day had been ok. I managed to get some charity bags done and went to my nurse today. I see my gp today as she wasnt there today. I managed to go to work and thankfully it was an easy day so only took a 2 hours to do.
Im worried, im trying to work out if my mental health is worth these medications. I know in a way they are literally saving me as It blocks quite a lot of what I was feeling and do feel when im not on them but they are making me put on weight. That week I had concussion and migraines and wasnt able to exercise and really put me back on my weight loss journey in fact its made me put 3 kgs despite eating healthy and exercising at least an hour a day not inlcuding my phsycial work. Its really upsetting me because im worried ill get bullied again and the sneers and stares will start back up. These medications im on are slowling down my nervous energy but if I dont take them I go backwards very quickly so as I said they are saving me quite abit. But at the cost of slow metabolising things. Over the past few days ive felt 'fat' so have only been having 2 small meals a day and exercising like crazy and ive still put on weight! Ahh well I guess if you dont eat you dont put on weight hey, starting to sound like a plan to me.
@Zoe7I managed to do something relaxing today and that was sitting near the beach for a little while. Watching the waves I find help and I zone out from what evers going on in my head so had a bit of respite today.
@Sans911
Im hoping this was the hardest part but I can already tell theres going to be a few more hard and draining sessions ahead because she wants to explore the trauma in bit by bit pieces and recognise the thoughts and feelings and go through the details so thatll be done over a course of sessions. Its not over yet and wating for the 'fat lady to sig' doesnt work cause im singing loudly and its not working! Ill take at look at those links you gave me too, hopefully I can make some sort of sense of them.
I was told by other therapists the intentions of self soothing was to practice them even when I feel ok so that ill know how it should feel when im in the anxious states. I never really saw the point of it unless I was distressed because I didnt need self soothing things I needed to do what had to be done.
@Bubbles3I hope you are doing ok, you have our support here

your not tainting my experinces. Everyone has their own experiences and thoughts and they are valid and to be respected. Its up to me what I take away from here and what people have said. If you want to take a step back thats fine and I respect your decsion. It doesnt make me feel any different about you, you have your preferences on what to comment on so only do what you can and want to 🙂
