when do you find its time to go to hospital?
im debating whether its the right move for me

Good plan @outlander I reckon you need to look into private health too just in case. Mine is like $60 a month which is pretty good cos it's hospital plus a couple extras (dental, optometrist, Physio). It can't hurt to call up a few or get some online quotes xx

im not @Pepsimax im keeping her out of it until i decide im going away for a day or so and thats it she doesnt need an explaination.
im going to try and incorporate things slowly though i dont even know where to start with it
@Former-Member ill try and have a look but at the moment i ahve a $350 vet bill and its about to get bigger! so i need to get that sorted out first

Yes helping yourself is the realistic and only way outlander,after a long time counseling and a stint in antidepressants I realised it wasn't help,not the answer.But you have to find what's good for you whether it is counseling etc.
I was sexually assaulted by a known person when I was 17,affected me badly,can understand what it does.

You're brave and resilient @outlander, holding your own as long as possible. After all, that why we are suppose to get counselling - to be able to walk away with enough new skills to spread out our sessions and eventually self manage. I think its sensible having a backup for the sexual abuse issues being dealt with - I know how they can throw us. Some solid mindfulness to strengthen emotional resilience before them might be good. I found I go backwards in hospital, behave stupid - don't understand that, but the routine, diet workgroups, ed talks and company can be helpful. Rehab could do just as much, like in America. Like a health farm. that's where I'd go if I was wealthy. I tgink we need love and care, I've never found that in hospital. Probably never leave if I did haha. 🌷🌿

i think i read before that this is a psychologist from vicitims services? is it? think youve done really well

@Former-Member i can only hope this is the right choice. Cause i have no bloody idea. Im just trying to make everything work snd im sorry you went through sa as well. It haunts me all the time!
@Former-Member lol good to see youve still got humour there. I dont know if i could get into their routine tbh. I think id end up pacing pacing pacing because j should be doing somethinb buy im not. But i think i neef to leave the hospital for people who really do need it and ill leave that as a back up plan in case things don't go well with therapy

Aww @Former-Member yeah a crummy day but i had to think o couldnt kerp dwelling on it cause the more i was dwelling the more distressed i was getting
