Hey @outlander - just read your post from earlier today and you are sounding so much more positive. Keep it up. You can do this.

hey @outlander just remember all the good things you are putting in place to make your life better. No-one, but no-one can take those things away. Did you look up the link I sent you before? I think it's far safer and less traumatic for you to stay out of family arguments, even if they resort to name calling (I am well aware how easy that it for me to say that, and I am not in your position, so I understand its supper challenging. You will never change their behaviours and attitudes, so just work on you. Hugs to my lil Sis.
@Former-MemberHi hun, great to hear you got a haircut; I think it's something we neglect all too easily, and sometimes a small change can be really nice. I've not had mine cut in quite some months. And I have let myself go gry, partly because I no longer care, and I had dermatitis on my scalp, so I couldn't use colours anyway.
I am sorry to hear even though you are having a break from your mother, your not really getting that. That must sting to be treated like that. I don't see anything wrong with what you are doing, but it's a pity others can't have the same perspective.Hugs to you, sweetheart

I know you feel badly that your Pop had a coughing fit when you were out - but these things happen
The best carer in the world cannot be present 24/7 - and I had a listen to a carer in the Carers' Forum - wow - that is such hard work -
Please don't beat yourself up - you are having bad thoughts tonight - I know - you have bad nights nearly every night
Thinking..................
It seems the days are getting a bit better but at night you have less distraction and also - you have insomnia - bad mixture
Recovery is a "works-in-progress" - "two-steps-forward" - "bunch-of cliches" - I know
It's really hard and disappointing after you have had a good spell to find it sneaking back - but start again tomorrow
From here it seems as if you are having a change in attitude - other people have noticed too - so hold onto that and start again each morning
Hugs
Dec
