I went to the support group last night. 6 other people there of varying ages. Was a good experience. I think it will be cool to hear what other people have gone through and what has or hasn't worked for them. Especially considering the range of age groups. It's all very organised too. Run by black dog institute.

Sounds like that would be useful @MDT. How often do they meet? Did you feel comfortable in sharing?

yes while this is a good start things on the homefront havent changed and neither has my therapy sessions. But at least this is better than going in circles. I really needed to break the cycle some how and while this only lasts a few weeks itll keep me occupied for that little while.
I know the hospital will always be there but I think ive been there enough. I know its there if I need to but id really rather some long term solutions rather than a few dasy in a psych ward and then come back to the same thing.
Now is the time to at least start to make some changes. More because I need them to happen. I cant keep hitting rock bottom. Of course there will be the bad days, bad weeks or bad month but I was loosing the fight within to keep going. At least there is a fire burning now and thats what matters

You can whinge as much as you like. Im here to listen to you even if thats all it is just a rant.

yes @Sans911 we cant run away from us so we have to better ourselves so that we are more comfortable with who we are. and that is a task in itself but we can keep blowing the fog away and seeing some clarity and good moments. we all need those

Hi @outlander,bit distressed ATM,just posted on struggling to survive,bit low.I do feel better with a trim it was ratty on the ends,only had a inch took off but it looks neater.Its a bit below my shoulders.How was your day?

hair cuts not matter how small often help us feel better even if its for only a little while.
my day was abit busy. i made up some charity bags, went to work, stressed about being a bad carer took my pop to the gp and he has a throat infections. alot better than what i was suspecting
