@outlander I'm breathing a massive sigh of relief right now as I started to get really worried about you. You're normally a lot more active on this site. That said, you've got to done amazingly well to recognise what you need to do to take care of yourself. That's huge. Big hugs lil Sis. Don't beat yourself up about the SH. You are doing the best you can do right now, and although not ideal, it is your go to strategy to help you cope when things get overwhelming. Hopefully soon you'll learn healthier, less distressing coping skills.

You need to give yourself a huge pat on the back for doing great things today; not getting into hurtful interactions with your mum, distracting yourself with art and work, going out. Well done.

And I'm glad you see the value of getting helpful support networks. I wanted to give up on everything not that long ago, and I'm glad that I pushed on to get back the support services I had before. Finding courage and strength is always challenging with MI, but you are determined hun, so hang in there. I got you. Big, super duper hugs.

hello @Queenie

its heartbreaking being in this situation let alone looking from it from the outside i know 😞

i was out of control yesterday and edging towards that again today. i never know when its time to check into hospital because i hide so much stuff and so many thigns ride on my ability to 'cope' thats its hard for me to go there.

and thank you for your hugs, much appreciated

im glad your getting some time to yourself without your mother adding that extra pressure to you. @Former-Member

i hate being like this Li1. i really do and i cant keep going the way i was. today was heading that way again, i was seeing figures again an it was freaking me out and i did end up crawling away (and i mean crawing hands and knees into the bedroom) so i could hide under my blankets.

Re: when is it time for hospital

@Sans911 sorry for worrying you but even being here didnt feel safe. i was having a really rough time of it and trying to ignore it all so i tried to put my strategies in place, they took a long time to work. ive only just started to come ok now. and yes generally when im not too active on here, its generally not a good thing but you dont have to worry.

ive got so many other stressors which may require me going to my gp because they are health related. it seems my immune system is really low which makes me suseptable to so many dramas including skipped cycle, cysts- yep its coming back and im sure its stress related and also an infection downstairsm which i remember when i was this stress last time i got a major infection downstairs so this is jsut so friggin great! and it makes me really irritated as well 😞

i dont know if these added support are going to help me. thats the trouble, im so over it all, i really jsut want to get on with my life and its just not possible. ive got the habit of pishing everything away when im in certain states esp medical professionals.

oooh i dont know. im so tired. im sick of fighting. i know i sound determined and i know i have to do what has to be done but sometimes i wish someone would take care of it for me. i hate bingt he adult all the time, its exhasting.

at least i managed to take my meds last night after 2 days of not taking them. now ive jsut gotta get them down again tonight. next task shower and bed.

oop here i go again, i need to go implement some more strategies yet again

god it never ends!!

Re: when is it time for hospital

It is powerful an illusion/hearing voices etc @outlander.I can't describe mine as the mod will pull it.Mine basically telling me what I just described, worthless,no hope and strong encouragement to SC.It makes you regress that scared child within.

I mentioned going to the doctor,I've been there and done so many times,I'm ashamed I'm still in that position and it is humiliating and makes me feel weak.Plus you worry what the doctor will say,or if he will support/, understand.

To everyone else in life like @Sans 911 described, life goes so smoothly, with me and many, not one thing goes right. The paranoia you have is largely due to how vulnerable you feel.

@Former-Member
Im so tired and having untrustworthy professionals isnt helping me. I need to either forget about them unless i need them or buck up and go back
I want my mood stabilisers increased so that requires a visit to one of them
I judt dont want to go.
I know i have to go but i cant seem to make that appointments

Re: when is it time for hospital

@outlanderNo need to apologise hun; I will worry about while you are on these forums, and when you are not. That's what big sisters do. All I want is for you to take care of yourself the best way you know how, and if that means staying away from the forums, then do so. I know several other fourm members do the same, myself included.

Unfortunately, mental illness has such a big impact on our physical wellbeing and vice versa. I've never been so unwell until these last couple of years. I use to visit my GP like once every 2 years or so, now it's every damn week! And yes, I understand the irritation; it's kinda like does ANYTHING ever go right, yeah?

I wish there was someone to take care of you, so that you could get on with getting better, and making a life worth living. Hang in there sister, your time is coming.

I am glad you have taken your meds; hopefully they will help. Don't feel you have to answer this post. I see you are struggling again tonight, so I want you to concentrate on taking care of you. But by all means, if you need to talk, I am here for a while. I am working on resolving last night's issue.
