@outlander I'm sorry to that you felt the need to hurt yourself, but I've done the same thing at times in my life, so I do understand it is a coping mechanism for now. I hope one day you never need to do that again. I'm pleased you spoke to your support person and sorted something out. That was probably scary, but very brave of you. It's really hard to share our vulnerabilities with others. I know your anxiety is still high so I think it's a good idea to do something that you enjoy & that distracts you, like colouring or drawing.

@outlander Dropping by hoping today is a little better for you. Does your SH need medical attention? I have done that in the past try not to punish yourself any more if you can. I was told once while in hospital to hold ice in both hands when feeling like SH, just thought I'd mention it as it might help. You have done well. I so wish you could get out of that house and get your own life going, you deserve that. Sending a gentle hug your way.

@Former-Member hello love. I'm kinda ok; still a little unsettled from what happened last night. I was really upset & angry, and I wanted to do some damage to myself. I did put myself at a very big risk when I took off in my car, but I didn't want to hurt the people who love me, even though they hurt me first. They live in a regional country town and pretty much know half the people here, so they would be asked lots of questions that might make life difficult for them. So I'm trying to turn this around, with the help of my mh case manager, to perhaps teach these people more about me and how my mh impacts on my behaviour. I don't really share enough with them as I don't want to burden them, but then I have to deal with them not understanding me and what's going on with me.

Sorry you went through that @Sans 911,I live in small pathetic gossip town once lived out of it.Worked in it for 20 years,I know what they are without being paranoid.Through having a breakdown and reaction to antidepressants (gave me months of facial ticks and vocalising syllables when agitated) everything else in my shit of a life I shut off from people.Cant handle them.Got a niece who I fell out with due to her lack of respect and attitude that started working where I worked for over two decades in the town.I hate to think what has been said @Sans911,and some days I struggle with it.I had to be a b**** to survive there,and the atmosphere was that bad it contributed to my downfall through stress.
The only consolation is what comes around goes around and they need to go and find a mirror.@Sans911, they can gossip all they like as long as they don't put it in my face.
You will never reach these people @Sans911,unless you go through it,they can't understand and some are so ignorant.I can't stand gossip,at the end of the day @Sans911,in reality the absolute b****** aren't worth worrying about.
As for your family @Sans911,I hope they have more sense than to fall into that kind of pathetic idiotic behavior.This is my main form of communication,besides talking to my cats with mum away.I just don't have the energy for it.Look after yourself and do what is right for you.
