Re: when is it time for hospital

I went to a psychologist who worked from home @outlander years ago.He was absolutely hopeless.Still going absolute idiot, got distressed he had no idea it was obvious.Dont know who was the biggest welfare recipient me or him.He has a big house, the garage is his office.Spent all that time going on what a success he was.He reminded me of Rooster amongst the chooks crowing about his manhood!I
All I seen was someone in it for the money.Lasted two sessions.I hope you got something out of the session today.I understand depression has robbed me of enjoyment but with the animals as I have stated my cats are the only things that have kept me going because they are the only things that need me to wake up in the morning. For someone who was on a farm doing paddock and a acre garden to now being stuck in town,I know If rather be back in the paddock seeing a horse lay down,or feeding from a bucket. Its hard I know, but you have a job which I would jump at at the moment because of its simplicity, which is what us who have mental illness need.Id rather horse shit anyday outlander then the crap sitting in the house with family or being on welfare.

Just read what you said about the psychologist @outlander,if you aren't happy or uncomfortable don't stick with her.@Phoenix Rising might be right about getting help you are happy with.

@Sans911,I don't have the energy for them.Had to shut them out.My niece got a job this year at the place I worked at for over 20 in the small gossip town I'm in.I know how they gossip, and my niece has a "attitude".I googled my name earlier this year to see what it brought up.My niece and my other sister had a conversation on Facebook which was a private matter about me.So I know her mouth is moving where I worked and I have to think what's been said.I cannot step out in this town due to my anxiety is triggers for depression. The only consolation is what goes around, comes around.

We all copped bullying @outlander, how do think my social anxiety started?I'm ashamed to be called "human"sometimes.Spill it if you need to.

Re: when is it time for hospital

this is the first time ive meantioned it. anywhere. Ive kept this hidden for a very long time.. @Former-Member@Sans911@Former-Member and others who would like to contribute

I had a friend who I shared my secrets with through school, we would have study together, hang out, go to the movies, and spend time in class together and do what normal people would do.
She was doing something that I really didnt agree with and that was dating a guy I knew was trouble. I was being abused then too and was really weary of men but as you know people give off those impressions. I told her to please be careful, dont get pushed into doing the thing she didnt want to do. She turned it all back on me, spreading rumours about me. I lost all my friends from it, got bullied so badly I didnt want to go to school, and I was also hanged up on and was hurt badly. No serious injuries but enough. I didnt even know what was happening because I was on my way to the library. My favourite and only safe place I had. And they dragged me into the hallway where I couldnt get away. I kept going to school because I didnt want my mum to know. I had no where to turn to. Who was going to believe me anyway.
I knew it was the right thing to warn her because she found out the hard way. After I was beaten up, he turned into a real jerk. He was becoming possessive over her. She did eventually break it off.
She never spoke to me again. She wouldnt even look at me after that. And I moved schools.

Hi @outlander

Just wanted to check in and let you know I am here tonight until 12 midnight. Sorry to read that you are feeling upset and triggered by reading something tonight.

Don't feel you need to share personal information here on the forum, or that doing so will help you feel better. It's probably more useful to focus on your self care strategies to calm down your nervous system, and try to distract and relax.

What have you tried from your self care plan? Happy to chat here or via email.

kind regards,

Frog

@outlander,
That is the f***** human nature we are exposed to from a early age,"toxic friend's"who aren't actually friends, and peer pressure can be a big problem.I try not to think about the b******,they aren't worth it.Its like the mongrelbreds who bullied me over my weight,I see them and they are either overwieght, look 100,ugly,got overwieght wife or kids. Not being nasty but it gave me some consolation lol.As I said what goes around, comes around.

Re: when is it time for hospital

@outlander that sounds really awful, and I'm sorry you've have had deal with so much trauma in your life at such a young age. It's a pity your friend at that time didn't want to listen to your warnings. But sometimes people can see what's in front of them and don't want to know, or they can't see what is in front of them because the other person was manipulative and secretive. What you've been through @outlander doesn't define you. You can eventually forge a new you, stronger than ever and create an amazing, decent life where good things are happening and anxiety no longer hangs over you.

@lil1 I'm sorry you've been and continue to go through so much. Small town gossip and attitudes can be so denigrating.
