@outlander,sounds like a day of change, because you acted on decisions with positive outcomes.I think the worse too which is why I avoid the local town, catastrophic thinking, but it's good that it had a amicable and surprising outcome for you today.
You and I are so similar,I never got on with people my own age that much, always related to older people, don't know ,never had that much in common, not having a child or boyfriend, always had animals and farmlife I was happy with.I never confirmed to peer pressure, never fitted in, always felt different and because I was obese was always treated "less than",so I kept my distance.I know you don't like dogs due to your trauma but my dogs were my best friend's,loved me for me,with people it's picking out your faults etc. hope one day you can heal from your trauma .I hope you get a better night.

i was scared as hell to even msg anyone. i knew it had to be done though. i couldnt hold it off any longer. it was cut my losses and give her back at the end of the month or keep her for the 6 months and get more attached and more annoyed towards her. i knew it wasnt going to work as i was turning against her and not her fault. she jsut reminded me of all the lies and dissapointment.
im going to save up for another horse and jsut keep saving until i find one that im happy with.
yep never had boyfriends or girlfriends, went clubbing, or parties or anyhting like that. i jsut had no interest and was always too busy anyway.

I think my life experiences separated me from people my own age @outlander,my father dying when I was 19 made me face responsibility early, like you with your siblings. But I do feel for you sharing a bedroom at your age,you have greater tolerance than you think. It must be hard as you need your space.I question if this shows your mother's lack of consideration, but on the other hand may be just the fact that it's the way it is to put a roof over your heads.Im not in a position to judge, but you need room to grow and your independent... Speaking from experience.
Yes you are doing the right thing, you can't afford to cough up vet bills for this horse for nothing and you realise you can't or don't,need the stress of her.
I think we are just different from the others outlander,I constantly worry what people think, but on the other hand,I no longer want to put myself in those positions where you feel you have to be something,or try to be someone to "fit in".I no longer care.

@outlander,my love of animals cost me a lot of money and in reflection I wish I spent the money on a house etc .You are entering a time when you have to start building a nest for yourself,so yes getting rid of a horse you aren't happy with is wise. It's a tough situation for you not having that space.Have you started a hope chest?
Over the years I brought crockery, cutlery, etc on sale, out it away in hope one day I'd have a place of my own.Might be something to think about just to give you hope for tomorrow.
I care what people think don't think I don't,that's why I avoid them.As stated, someone only has to say the wrong thing and I'm sliding into that dark place.I always tried to please others,....No good.Talk tomorrow 🙋

That is great news @outlander. Accomplishments, even the small ones need celebration. I hope today is a good day, if not decent one ![]()
Work is busy. Just on my lunch break. Will be catching up with my "now friend" tonight. Probably tell him about the guy been seeing. I know my "now friend" has had difficult days the past month or so. It would be good to see him and hang out.
